Avi Abelow: Ayala Hasson on the Importance of Israeli Elections and will Determine if Someone Will Judge the Judges

They are being exposed!!!

One of Israel’s most prominent and independent journalists, Ayala Hasson, not from the right, is sounding the alarm about what she says is happening at the very top of Israel’s justice system, at the Supreme Court.

“Something here is deeply distorted,” Hasson warned. “What happened behind the scenes? Who fabricated this case?”

Then she delivered the line that should shake every Israeli:
“There is an attempt to bury this affair.”

And Hasson went straight to the Supreme Court:
“The Supreme Court should have been outraged that they (the Attorney General’s office) dared to deceive it.”

That is the real story.

The problem is no longer merely the former Military Advocate General. The problem reaches the institution sitting at the very top of Israel’s judicial system: the Attorjey General’s office and the Supreme Court.

And that makes the upcoming Israeli election enormously consequential.

With existing vacancies and expected retirements, as many as 10 of the Supreme Court’s 15 seats could require appointments during the next government’s term.

Think about that.

The government Israelis elect will shape the Supreme Court for a generation.

And the political divide could hardly be clearer.

A Netanyahu-led government and its allies have spent years demanding fundamental judicial reform to rebalance power between Israel’s elected branches and its unelected judicial officials, including the AG office and the Supreme Court.

An alternative government led by figures such as Gadi Eisenkot and supported by parties of the Israeli left would take a profoundly different approach toward the existing judicial establishment, they would strengthen the hold of the deep state within the Supreme Court and the judicial system.

That means this election isn't merely about Netanyahu versus Eisenkot.

It is about whether Israel reforms its judicial system, or further entrenches the extraordinary powers accumulated by the Supreme Court and legal establishment.

That is why Hasson’s warning matters so much.

The scandal surrounding former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi began with a betrayal of the IDF soldiers of Force 100.

The very military legal establishment entrusted with safeguarding our soldiers turned its enormous power against them, telling the world that they were “despicable rapists of terrorists”. The Military Advocate General admitted to leaking a video, proven to be edited, of the alleged crime and it spread around the world, helping portray Israeli soldiers as monsters while they were fighting our enemies.

That was a betrayal of our soldiers, our army and our country by the highest-ranking legal official in the IDF.

The video did not show what the world was led to believe it showed, and the indictment against the Force 100 soldiers was ultimately withdrawn.

But by then, the damage had already been done. Global headline news. Anti-Israel UN resolutions. These soldiers publicly disgraced before the entire world, their names and reputations dragged through the mud before their guilt was ever established.

The consequences devastated their personal lives, families were torn apart, jobs were lost, and one of the soldiers took his own life.

Their reputations were destroyed first. Still no accountability for those responsible.

Tomer-Yerushalmi subsequently became the central suspect in the investigation into the video leak.

You would therefore expect the entire justice system to demand:
Who authorized it?
Who participated?
Who knew?
Who misled the courts?
Who protected whom?
Expose everything.

Instead, Hasson is warning:
“There is an earth-shattering affair here... and they (senior officials in the Justice system) want to blur it and bury it.”

And that is where the Supreme Court becomes central.

When elected politicians are suspected of wrongdoing, Israel’s legal establishment unleashes investigations, interrogations, prosecutors and court proceedings.

But when allegations reach into that same legal establishment, suddenly Israelis encounter conflicts of interest, procedural obstacles and arguments over why further scrutiny isn't necessary.

This is the fundamental democratic problem Israel must confront.

An unelected judicial and legal establishment has accumulated extraordinary authority over elected governments while the mechanisms for holding that establishment itself accountable remain far weaker.

The Supreme Court can restrain elected governments.
The Attorney General can restrain elected ministers.
Legal advisers can prevent government policies from being implemented.
Yet when serious allegations implicate the legal establishment itself, who restrains them?

That is not sufficient checks and balances. It is an enormous concentration of unelected power.

And reforming that imbalance is not an attack on democracy.
It is strengthening democracy.

That is what makes the coming Supreme Court appointments so consequential.

If Netanyahu and the right-wing parties succeed in making a government, they will continue with judicial reform, to build a system with an independent judiciary and genuine accountability.

If Eisenkot and the political left form the next government, they will preserve and further entrench the existing deep state judicial power structure, halt the reforms and reverse the appointments and hard-won changes this government has managed to achieve so far.

This isn't an abstract argument anymore.

The Force 100 showed Israelis what happens when enormous legal power is exercised against our own soldiers.

The Supreme Court stonewalling an investigation into the former Military Advocate General raises the question of what happens when scrutiny reaches those exercising that power.

And Ayala Hasson is now warning Israelis that “there is an attempt to bury this affair.”

The coming election will help determine who appoints the next generation of Supreme Court justices and what institutional philosophy guides those appointments.
That is a democratic choice of enormous consequence.

Because the question is no longer simply who governs Israel for the next four years.

The question is whether Israel restores democratic accountability to its judicial system or allows an increasingly powerful unelected deep state establishment to become even more deeply entrenched for a generation.

The choice is ours. Hopefully, the people of Israel will choose wisely.

The question is whether enough Israelis have awakened to the reality of a powerful, unelected elite embedded at the highest levels of our security, intelligence, judicial and bureaucratic establishments, an entrenched establishment that too often obstructs the elected leadership and prevents the people of Israel from fully embracing its purpose back as a sovereign Jewish nation in our God-given, indigenous, ancestral homeland.

Or do more Israelis still need to wake up before we can finally break this stranglehold and restore genuine democratic accountability?

Regardless of what happens in the coming election, something much bigger is already happening. The Jewish people in Israel are awakening. We are strengthening our Jewish identity, reconnecting with our purpose and strengthening Israel as a proudly Jewish state.

The deep state may delay this awakening. It may fight it. But it cannot stop it.

It is not a question of whether Israel will ultimately break the deep state’s grip and restore sovereignty to the people. It is only a question of when.

Strengthen your faith in God. Great times are ahead even with the ups and downs.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!

Citizen Defenders — Rosh Hashana Update

As we approach Rosh Hashana, the Jewish people once again find ourselves facing a challenging security reality—but also an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen the resilience and security of Am Yisrael.
Recent revelations by Lt. Col. (res.) Maurice Hirsch of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs have highlighted a deeply concerning development: the PA has been building what amounts to a full-fledged military force of approximately 70,000 troops, including heavy weaponry, armored vehicles, and training designed to attack Israeli towns and cities in Judea Samaria and beyond.

The potential danger is not lost on the Israeli public. A recent poll published by the Center found that 86% of Jewish Israelis fear that such a force could carry out an attack similar to October 7.

The threat is serious. But there is also good news for Am Israel.

Citizen Defenders is growing.

We are excited to announce that Citizen Defenders is becoming an initiative of Israel Friends, a nonprofit organization that will help us scale Citizen Defenders nationally.
Our first city in this new phase is Afula, which has asked Citizen Defenders to submit a proposal to establish and train a team of 750 volunteers. Other municipalities are already expressing interest and beginning to follow suit.

*Our mission* remains straightforward: to prepare responsible, licensed civilians to protect their communities when every second counts.

We are also taking Citizen Defenders' message beyond Israel. Following our successful presentation at a U.S. Department of Defense international conference, we have been invited to sponsor a workshop at the prestigious International Counter-Terrorism World Summit in Herzliya next month.

There is much to do—and very little time to do it.

But we believe that preparedness saves lives, resilience deters our enemies, and a stronger, better-prepared citizenry makes Israel stronger.

As we enter the New Year, we are grateful to everyone who has supported Citizen Defenders and helped us reach this next stage.

On behalf of the Israel Friends–Citizen Defenders team, we wish you and your families a happy, healthy, peaceful and secure New Year.

May Hashem continue to protect Am Israel, strengthen our people, and give us the wisdom, courage and determination to build an even stronger and safer Israel.

A Warrior in Lebanon Shares his Pain "How is it Possible that We Win, Conquer the Territory and in the End Give it Back to the Enemy Every Time"?

Bsd

אל המקום אשר...

"עצוב כמה שזה נכון. לוחם משתף הכאב. "אך יתכן שאנחנו מנצחים, כובשים שטח ובסוף מחזירים אותו לאויבכל פעם מחדש"
So Sad how true it is. A warrior stationed in Lebanon shares his pain. "How is it possible that we win, conquer the territory and in the end give it back to the enemy every time."
Basic translation

This Warrior Chayal,  (IDF Soldier), is speaking from South Lebanon in 2026.

He says that he was speaking from territory which was already conquered in 1985.

In 2000 Israel gave it back to the enemy in exchange for an illusive peace, for deceptive calm.

In 2006 Israel returned and reconquered the territory... just to end the war and then return the territory to the enemy in exchange for "peace".

In 2023 Again things exploded in our face.

In 2024 We were called to reconquer and when Hezbollah ran away we gave the territory back only so they can rearm...

In 2026 We are back and again they call me again to reconquer the territory and I am asking. What will be? Will we give it back to them again? What army acts like this? What country in the world acts like this? Will Ukraine capture territory and give it back to Russia?
Israel gives it back and then needs to fight again and again to reconquer.

We know Chayalim who have died here. We gather strength and fight and Conquer only to give it back to the enemy? For what? For a terror group that wants to humiliate us? There is no reason to build a wall to protect our communities only to have to conquer the territory again and again.

To anyone that is "horrified" by the term "Conquer" כיבוש, This is what Ben Gurion did in 1948 and Rabin in 1967. Where is the idea that one conquers an area only to return it to an enemy that will go to war with you again? I am not willing to do this anymore!
-----
After listening to this Chayal share some painful truths it hit home even more when I watched the young daughter of a great Warrior Harel Birrenstock ob"m, killed in Lebanon this passed month August 2026, singing with longing for her father.

In Tribute to Harel Birrenstock ob"m. Moving to Tears: Killed in Lebanon One Month Ago. His Daughter Ori sings to him out of Deep Longing for the Father he was.

Was his untimely death really necessary? Why does Israel give back what they have conquered only to go to war again and lose more precious souls for no purpose? See how many family members are in deep loss... Our heart cries out for them in pain...May Hashem comfort them among the the mourners of Zion but may his ultimate sacrifice serve to revolutionize the Military strategy to be one that Conquers, Expels and Settles rather than Conquers and then gives the territory it conquered back to the enemy with some "peace deal" and then needs to reConquer and sustain painful losses only to give the territory it conquered back to the enemy once again, a non ending cycle of wasted sacrifice.

Enough is enough. Enough crying. Time to demand a change in military strategy that is dictated by politics and finally be victorious and fight to win. Victory and Winning translates to
- Conquer,
- Expel and
- Annex
Rather than be a puppet to outside, powerful, political forces.

Ein Od Milvado.

Israel Trusts in G-d and in His Salvation Bzh!!!

Moving to Tears: Major Harel's Daughters Birnstock.
A moving song in his memory.
Birrenstock, 34, was killed in Lebanon exactly a month ago in the battle to protect the residents of the north and the entire people of Israel. He was a respected company commander, after serving in Miluim multiple times in all settings. A charismatic leader who understood the magnitude of the hour in the war for the homeland. Harel lived a full and wonderful life with complete professionalism as a commander, an engineer for Elbit and as an exemplary family man. Husband to Elia with four amazing young children.

His Daughter Ori sings to him out of deep longing for the father he was.

The family launched a campaign in order to provide them with a stable and supportive foundation to continue the path for Elia and the children.

At the Funeral: Harel's Wife and Children Mourned and Paid Tribute: "They will grow up in a happy home, with Dancing and Singing"
"Remember Harel with his smile," requested the wife of Major (res.) Harel Birrenstock at his funeral on Mount Herzl, and his mother eulogized: "We will rise and become stronger just as Harel would have wanted, but I want to cry a little more." His father said: "I promise you, Harel - that no one can defeat the Birrenstock family."
Translation
Harel's wife paid tribute with their children by her side: "They will grow up in a happy home, with dancing and singing"

"Remember Harel with his smile," asked the wife of Maj. (res.) Harel Birrenstock at his funeral on Mount Herzl, and his mother paid tribute: "We will rise and be strong just as Harel would have wanted, but I want to cry a little more." His father said: "I promise you, Harel - that no one can beat the Birrenstock family."

"My Hareli. When they came to call you on Simchat Torah, right after you took your underwear and socks, you hugged me and told me to be strong - and ever since I've been trying to live up to that. To be strong for the children, to be the commander's wife. But now I can't be strong. I need you to send me strength." This is what Elia, the wife of Major (res.) Harel Birrenstock, said at noon (Thursday), above his grave on Mount Herzl - with their children by her side.

After a month and a half without fatalities in Lebanon, yesterday two more families received the hardest news of all. Major Birrenstock and combat medic Maj. (res.) Tamir Vaknin were killed by an explosive device in the village of Majdal Zun in IDF-controlled territory in southern Lebanon. Birrenstock, 34, from Menokhd, left behind a wife, four children, parents, brothers and sisters. Vaknin, 33, from Eilat, left behind parents and his two brothers. Four other reserve soldiers were wounded along with them, all from Battalion 2855 of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade.

"I promise you that the children will grow up in a happy home with dances and songs by Eden Ben Zaken and Rafi Biton in the background," she said to her at the funeral. "I promise you, Harel, I will be strong for them. And I want to ask all of you - remember the smile of this Star, that after a minute everyone loves him and becomes his friend within five minutes."

According to her, "In our country we would say about Harel that he enjoyed being full of himself ;). Therefore, I want to remember him as a man who loved life and as a man of joy... because it is impossible to look at him and not smile."

Yonath, Harel's mother, paid tribute to him: "You turned me into a mother and a grandmother, and Elia stood by your side the whole way. How can you understand that a person with such energy lies silent? How do you say goodbye to a child? I will never see you again and never hug you tightly. Lord of the universe - maybe enough?! How difficult it is in the good land. Look how much your children love you. We will rise and become stronger just like Harel would have wanted, but I want to cry a little longer."

Shlomo, Harel's father, eulogized him: "I love you so much, I'm so proud of the path you took. I can even say that I envied you. You managed to stretch all the boundaries a little more and a little more. In so many areas. You made us a very happy father and mother.

"Birrenstock is a top brand. This brand works on you like crazy. When I was young, I felt uncomfortable with this complicated name that people get wrong. You didn't care. You always knew how to get along and get out of difficult situations. I promise you, Harel, that no one can beat the Birrenstock family and that there will always be joy and happiness in our home - Am Yisrael Chai."

The bereaved brother, Matan, said: "You led a company of fighters. You were a man of people and missions. Every mission was carried out with five fingers, without shortcuts. Thank you Harel for 27 years of being my big brother, for what you were to me, for teaching me what friendship is."

"I will not forget our time. This is a tragedy that should not have happened, certainly not to a family like ours. Beloved mother and father, be proud of your Harel. To Elia, how much he loved you. We are here with you, you are our heart."

Sister Atar said at the ceremony: "You were the big and impressive brother that everyone looked up to with admiration. You were the heroic brother. You broke boundaries - you ran four marathons. When you were worried about the company's morale, you drove us crazy. You turned worlds upside down, brought flags and logos to show the fighters that you really cared. I was blessed to have you as my eldest brother. I don't want to stop talking, because it means that all of this really happened, but apparently this is really the end."

Elchonon Gruner : For Real?...To what extent is the IDF still in the conceptzia.

[The Hebrew term “conceptzia” is charged with Israel’s dire failure to correctly understand the Enemies true intentions and trust and believe that they can be contained and deterred and be a "partner for peace".  How many undeterred Terror attacks does one need to change the conceptzia?  Ambassador Mike Huckabee, are you paying attention? Time now to meet with Elisha Yered and Elchonon Gruner. You have met  with the Arab leaders of Qusra who happen to have American citizenship, with blood on their hands. You took a video of a "trespasser" (an Israeli patrol car),   which then furthered the false narrative of "Settlers  Violence".

How can one even suggest to  equate  an Israeli Patrol car as if it was act of Israeli Terror with a real terror attack?

We are waiting for a real condemnation from our dear friend Ambassador Huckabee of years gone by. We miss him dearly.]

Right now, shortly after this terrorist attack in Samaria

[He Was Stabbed in the Head and Neck. Then He Fought Back

Arab workers from the Palestinian Authority are entering the Samaria Brigade with their vehicle and walking around with saws and sharp tools among the fighters, some of whom are sleeping after an operation. And what did they come to do? Gardening. As if this is the most critical thing in the world and as if there are no Jews who can be brought to work on it.

But there is nothing to worry about, they have permission from the מת"ק, the local English Reporting DCO...

Play on words . The word "Motek" (without the acronym), means Sweetness (or Motek as a term of endearment.

(Do I sense some sarcasm?)

*US Ambassador Huckabee Visits Terrorist Village*

 HaKol Hayehudi

After the highly publicized visit of US Ambassador Mike Huckabee to Turmos Aya, Amishav Melat, brother of Benyahu Melat, responds: "You fell for the manipulation of terrorists in suits."

Huckabee released footage of an Israeli security ranger on the outskirts of the village and portrayed his passengers as threatening invaders. Melat revealed that he himself was the driver and explained that he had gone to inspect an unusual gathering in the area from which attacks and arson attacks have been carried out in recent months.

According to him, the visit presented a one-sided picture and ignored the incitement, the terrorist monuments and the repeated attacks against Jews in the area. He also claimed that videos shown to the ambassador were edited in a biased manner and omitted the beginning of the events.

Melat called on Huckabee to examine the full documentation and also meet with the residents of the settlement: "Don't let the hypocrites and terrorists in suits distort reality and mislead you."

Avi Abelow: Shabbat Shalom from the Beautiful Judean Hills!!!Nitzavim–Vayelech: Stand Up. Go. Come Home.

Shabbat Shalom from the beautiful Judean hills!!!

Nitzavim–Vayelech: Stand Up. Go. Come Home.

There is an incredible message hidden in the names of this week's double parsha.

Nitzavim — you are standing.
Vayelech — and he went.

Stand. And then go.

That might be one of the most important messages for the Jewish people today.

Moshe tells us:

“Atem nitzavim hayom kulchem lifnei Hashem Elokeichem” — “You are standing today, all of you, before Hashem your God.”
(Devarim 29:9)

Every Jew stands before God.

Not just rabbis. Not just leaders. Not somebody more religious, more courageous, or more qualified than you.

You. Me. All of us.

And then Moshe tells us what will happen to the Jewish people.

We will stray. We will be exiled. We will be scattered across the world.

But then we will do teshuvah.

And what does teshuvah literally mean?

Return.

“And you will return to Hashem your God…”
(Devarim 30:2)

First, we return to Hashem.

Then something extraordinary happens:

“Hashem your God will gather you from all the peoples…”
(Devarim 30:3)

And where does He bring us?

“Hashem your God will bring you to the Land that your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it.”
(Devarim 30:5)

There it is.

Individual teshuvah means returning to Hashem and His Torah.

National teshuvah means the Jewish people returning to Eretz Yisrael.

For two thousand years, our ancestors begged for this.

They prayed toward Jerusalem.

They cried for Zion.

At every wedding they remembered Jerusalem.

Every Pesach they said, “Next year in Jerusalem.”

And now?

We can actually come home.

We are living the verses that generations of Jews could only dream about.

Yet we still make excuses.

It's too difficult.
My life is somewhere else.
It's not the right time.
Israel isn't my culture.

But think about that last one.

America was once foreign to our Jewish ancestors in Europe. Europe was foreign to our ancestors who had been expelled from Spain. Spain was foreign to earlier generations who had wandered there through exile. And Rome itself was foreign to the Jews who had been exiled from their our ancestral homeland, the Kingdom of Judea.

Life in an exiled country became familiar, and we began mistaking what was familiar for our national home.

But Eretz Yisrael is not foreign to the Jewish people.

It is home, where the whole country follows the Jewish calendar and all national vacations are Jewish holidays.

It is the land where Avraham walked, where David ruled, where our prophets spoke, and toward which Jews prayed throughout two thousand years of exile.

And now, after generations of praying for Hashem to return us, we have been blessed with the ability to actually return.

The question is whether we have the emunah to recognize that what feels familiar is not necessarily where we ultimately belong and what initially feels unfamiliar may actually be coming home.

And that is why we need Vayelech.

Moshe is leaving this world, and Yehoshua is being asked to replace the greatest leader in Jewish history and lead the Jewish people into Eretz Yisrael.

Imagine Yehoshua saying:

Who am I?

I'm not Moshe.

I didn't split the sea.

I didn't receive the Torah at Sinai.

Surely somebody else is more qualified.

But that is not what Yehoshua does.

Moshe tells him:

“Chazak ve’ematz” — “Be strong and courageous.”
(Devarim 31:23)

Why?

Because Hashem gave him a mission.

And Hashem knows better than we do.

That is emunah.

God created us.

God created this world.

God created the Jewish people.

And He knows the best way for us to live.

That is why He gave us the Torahת our instruction manual for life.

Our job is not to explain to Hashem why His instructions don't work for our lives.

Our job is to strengthen our emunah and follow them.

And Moshe tells us:
“It is not in heaven.”
(Devarim 30:12)

It is not impossible.
“Nor is it across the sea.”
(Devarim 30:13)

And then comes the key:

“The matter is very close to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to do it.”
(Devarim 30:14)

To do it.

Torah is not meant only to inspire us.
It is meant to direct our lives.

And today, returning to the Land of Israel is no longer some impossible dream on the other side of the world.

Planes land here every day.
Jewish communities are growing.
Children are being raised speaking Hebrew in the hills where Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov walked.

The Jewish people have come home.
And every Jew has to ask: What is my role in that return?

Because Moshe ends with perhaps the most important choice in the entire Torah:

“Choose life… to love Hashem your God, to listen to His voice and to cling to Him… so that you may dwell upon the Land that Hashem swore to your fathers, to Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov.”
(Devarim 30:19–20)

Look at that formula.

Choose life.
Love Hashem.
Listen to Him.
Cling to Him.
Live in His Land.

It is all connected.

So this Elul, don't just ask Hashem to bring us closer to Him.

Take a step closer.

Don't just pray for the ingathering of the Jewish people.
Be part of it.

Don't say, “I'm not Yehoshua. This isn't for me.”
We all have to be Yehoshua.

Strengthen our emunah.
Trust that Hashem knows what is best for us.
And follow the directions He gave us.

Nitzavim. Stand up.
Vayelech. Go.
Chazak ve’ematz. Be strong and courageous.
Return to Hashem.
Return to Torah.
And come home.

That is teshuvah.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!

Bsd

To My Dear Satmar Brothers and Sisters and Chassidim and Ultra Religious Jews Regarding Those in our community who came out to Greet Mayor Mamdani at Eichler’s or wherever…

My Aunt and Uncle were Satmar Chassidim. I have tremendous Hakaras Hatov to my Satmar Aunt and Uncle and only tremendous respect to first cousins and their large families.

When I was a single girl living in Kiryat Arba, I used to visit my Aunt and Uncle for Shabbat or simply stop by to visit in Yerushalayim. When I arrived, my Uncle Mendybachi announced. “A Groisa Gast”. אל גרויסע גאסט
“A Great Guest” has come.

Talk about royal treatment. So know that what I am saying is coming from a good place.

The Chassidim that have gone out of their way flattering Mayor Mamdani are blinded. It's as simple as that.

They have tremendous Hakaras Hatov, appreciation, for what NY has done for their community. They want these helpful programs to continue be it housing, food, health, whatever it takes, to keep their community functioning and affordable.

Mayor Mamdani is personable, he has an engaging smile. He wants to help their community grow and flourish. What is the big deal? He helps us and we help him. He smiles at us and we smile at him. We don't love him and we know he doesn't love us. We are playing the game. Our children continue to grow in a frum, Chassidish atmosphere and don't need to compromise on important Chassidish principles. Our Tznius standards are not being challenged, our Chinuch (education); is not being challenged and we are getting help with food, housing and healthcare. That's all we need and we are grateful.

Economically it is a good working relationship.

People may be surprised to learn that the State of Israel as well has had a lucrative economic quid pro quo with the Arabs, even the ones who want to murder us. Tons of European money is coming in to support the people in Gaza via UNRWA, the United Nations Organization set up specifically to aid Arab refugees and their descendants from 1948. Israeli companies conduct business and help supply the Humanitarian aid to their enemies at a sizable profit. This aid is then resold at a profit which then serves to fund Hamas and Terror groups to dig tunnels and arm themselves patiently until they can eventually attack Israel. [9]

The Agenda of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood is the Total destruction of Israel and the Jewish people.

In Kibbutz Beeri, there was a woman, a humanitarian, who was committed and involved in helping Arabs get medical treatment. They knew who she was and she was subsequently murdered on October 7. Those in the leftwing Kibbutzim who wanted to build a peaceful and loving relationship with their Arab Neighbors were the first to go. Approximately 1200 people were Rachmana letzan were raped, murdered and killed in the most brutal way possible.

Mamdani's wife, who he considers to be one of the most ethical people around, publicly supported what happened on October 7.

Is flattering Mamdani no different than being a Kapo?

I hope that even if you are aware that Mamdani is Muslim, you want to believe that he is not as evil as Hitler Yemach Shemo. After all, he is helping finance great projects in your community.

Here you are blinded

שוחד מעוור פקחים
Bribary, blinds the wise.

Mamdani gets his nourishment from Jews like yourself. This empowers him. He is willing to pay a good price for respectibility and legitimacy.

The greater his empowerment the greater the evil he can inflict and Chas Vesholom it will first fall on those that empowered him. He does not have Hakoras Hatov like you do. He sees you as useful idiots. He will have no Rachmanus just like the good people of Beeri, those committed to Palestinian aid in Gaza, found out on October 7.

Do your research.

Know that every campaign and project paid for by dealing with the likes of Mamdani is Treif. It is tainted.

Unless Eichler’s apologizes to the Jewish People for allowing Mamdani to enter their Seforim store, tainting every single product in that store, I personally, and I am sure there are others like me, will bli Neder not want to step foot into Eichlers.

I hope others join this boycott, not chas vesholom because we want to boycott Chashuv Yiden but because we don't want to get tainted.

Yes you desperately need these programs and this money. However, this evil, what happened on October 7, what happened in Nazi Germany, can never be settled with money.

It only can be settled with true Justice. With those who support Hamas there are no deals. There is no good will.

Mamdani is treasonous and is not even hiding it. He supports the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. He is treasonous to America. He should never have been allowed to be on the Democratic ticket. By being complicit, the Democrat Socialists of America, a treasonous party that aligns itself with radical Islam, is taking control of the Democrat party.

You have aligned yourself, blinded, with Amalek. And this is Torah?

Am Yisroel has to draw a line. You can not sit on a fence. Choose. It is Am Yisrael or Amalek.

The Choice before Rosh Hashana is ours.

Please Hashem don't test me!

IDF Spokesperson Confirms: Rotem Battalion Commander Brought Religious Soldiers to Exercise on Shabbat and Lied to Them That It Was a Military Operation -

הכתבה בעברית

English translation with the help of Google translate:

IDF admits: Givati company commander held a drill on Shabbat without operational need and contrary to procedures — fighters claim that the incident broke trust in the commander and led to a crisis that exploded weeks later

Tov News System

21 Elul 5775 | Sep. 3, 2026

As part of the investigation into the incident in Givati's Rotem Battalion, the fighters claimed that several weeks ago the company commander conducted an exercise for them on Shabbat and lied to them about its operationality, and also did not receive approval from the brigade commander. According to them, this damaged their trust in the commander and led them to contact their Yeshiva leaders.

The IDF spokesperson's response was received after a request from journalist Yishai Al-Makiis, in which the IDF spokesperson confirmed that on Saturday, 08/08/2026, a company exercise was indeed held in the Gaza Strip area, which was not in accordance with procedures:

“As part of the Rotem Battalion's ongoing activity in the Gaza Strip area, on 08/08/2026, a Saturday, a company exercise was held in the Gaza Strip area. After the exercise was held and in light of claims made by some soldiers in the battalion, it was found that there was no operational reason for holding the exercise during Shabbat and that the exercise was not brought to the attention of the brigade commander. The incident was investigated and a command dialogue was held in the battalion, from which lessons were drawn and assimilated. The approval of the exercise damaged the soldiers' way of life. The battalion commanders held a dialogue with the company commander and pointed out to him his mistake and the ways of conducting himself in the future. In addition, the company commander was summoned for clarification with the Givati Brigade Commander following the incident.”
Through this incident, it becomes clear that the fighters rightly lost their trust in the commander who had already lied to them in the past and was reprimanded. The IDF talks endlessly about recruiting ultra-Orthodox soldiers and the need to bring more young people into the ranks of the army. But how exactly are they expected to enlist, when the army itself violates its obligations to them and a commander lies to the fighters in order to make them violate the Sabbath?

Avi Abelow: Deep State. Exposed. Coming out of the woodwork

Bsd

אל המקום אשר....

America and Israel Are Fighting the Same Deep-State Battle

A disturbing report in The Washington Post says senior U.S. military commanders warned Secretary of War Pete Hegseth that renewing the war against Iran would be “unsustainable.”

The military assessment itself is not the real scandal. Senior commanders absolutely should give elected leaders their most candid professional assessments, even when those assessments contradict what the political leadership wants to hear, in private.

The problem begins when internal assessments are leaked to the media and used to generate public pressure against the policies of the elected government.

That is the deeper danger.

The operational reality is that the United States remains the most powerful military force in the world. America can fight Iran and prevail on other fronts if necessary. Of course there would be costs, there are always costs, and military professionals have an obligation to explain those costs.

But ultimately, who makes the decision?

The elected leadership or unelected officials who believe their professional judgment should effectively determine national policy?

This is precisely why Americans need to understand that they are dealing with the same fundamental problem that we Israelis have been confronting for years.

I constantly talk about Israel's deep state: powerful unelected figures within our legal, security, intelligence and bureaucratic establishments who use their positions to obstruct government policies and appointments, while selective leaks to mainstream media outlets create public pressure against decisions made by the people Israel elected.

This deep state reality was also a major contributor to the catastrophe of October 7. In the critical days and hours before the jihadi invasion, senior military and intelligence officials made consequential decisions while withholding critical warnings and dangers from Netanyahu and the elected political leadership. At the same time, on the morning of Oct. 7, legal constraints and debates over authorities and rules of engagement further complicated the government's ability to respond with the speed and decisiveness the emergency invasion demanded.

That is why accountability cannot stop with the terrorists who invaded Israel. The deep state officials who left Israel vulnerable, and prevented the catastrophe from being stopped or dramatically reduced, must also be fully investigated and punished.

The military, intelligence and legal establishments cannot demand enormous power and independence and then escape accountability when that power fails the country at its most critical moment.

At its core, the mentality is profoundly anti-democratic: The voters don't understand. Their elected representatives can't be trusted. We, the professionals, know better.

And therefore the deep state establishment must save the people from themselves.

That is not democracy.

President Trump is the first U.S. President confronting this entrenched deep state institutional power. And Netanyahu's current government is the first government confronting the Israeli deep state entrenched institutional power.

That is why I tell people: Don't be discouraged by how ferocious the deep state resistance has become.

In many ways, its intensity tells us how threatened the deep state feels today, as never before.

In Israel, it is no longer even “deep.” It is being exposed. More and more people are seeing how unelected officials abuse their positions and institutional power in profoundly undemocratic ways.

The Supreme Court protecting a fired Attorney General, while also shielding the former Military Advocate General from investigation, even after she admitted involvement in leaking a video of IDF soldiers that was presented around the world as evidence of horrific abuse, fueling an enormous international blood libel against Israeli soldiers and contributing to condemnations of Israel at the UN?

The IDF Chief allowing her to retire with a fat pension without even waiting for a proper investigation and potential punishment stripping her pension? The Supreme Court blocking or delaying critical October 7 investigations involving Brig. Gen. Oren Solomon and the State Comptroller?

Religious soldiers punished even when following army protocol, while senior commanders responsible for the catastrophic military failures of October 7, that led to the greatest catastrophe since the Holocaust, have escaped investigation and accountability?

With every passing day, the contradictions become harder to hide. And these are only a partial list.

The establishment that once operated largely beyond public scrutiny is exposing itself through its own actions. And more and more Israelis are seeing it.

Israelis are waking up. And once people see how the system really operates, it becomes very difficult to make them unsee it.

The deep state can succeed only as long as it operates largely hidden from public view.

But that does not mean the struggle will be easy. Quite the opposite.

An entrenched establishment that feels its power slipping away becomes like a wounded lion surrounded, more dangerous and ferocious than ever, willing to tear through everything in its path in order to survive.

That is the stage we are witnessing now.

Don't be discouraged by its ferocity. Its ferocity is a sign that it knows it has been exposed.

Look at Israel. We are surrounded by very real jihadi enemies who have murdered our people and openly seek our destruction. Yet day after day, enormous political and media attention is directed at religious soldiers, Jews living in Judea and Samaria, and the latest alleged scandal of “settler violence.”

Meanwhile, there is NO scrutiny of the jihadi Muslim populations in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and even among Israeli citizens, including individuals who otherwise live ordinary lives in Israel working as doctors, lawyers, bus drivers or pharmacists.

Instead of relentlessly exposing and confronting the 1,400+ year jihadi ideology that fuels terrorism against Jews, the deep state and their partners in the mainstream media obsess with portraying religious soldiers and Jewish settlers as the danger to Israel.

That distortion should concern every Israeli.

Meanwhile, a proudly Jewish majority increasingly wants Israel to embrace its Jewish national identity, strengthen our hold on our ancestral homeland, defeat our jihadist enemies and govern according to the mandate voters give their elected representatives.

That clashes directly with the deep state progressive, globalist worldview that too treats nationalism, especially unapologetic Jewish nationalism, as something dangerous that must be restrained.

We already saw where that political worldview could lead when an Israeli government became dependent on Ra'am, the Muslim Brotherhood political party in Israel. And Eizenkot wants to depend upon them again if he becomes Prime Minister in our upcoming elections.

The battle in America and Israel is therefore much bigger than Trump or Netanyahu.

Who ultimately controls our nations?

Will Americans determine America's future through elections? Will the Jewish people determine Israel's future through elections?

Or will increasingly powerful unelected deep state establishments reserve for themselves the ability to obstruct policies whenever voters choose a direction they dislike?

This is why we cannot become discouraged.

The uglier the headlines become, the more important it is to expose institutional abuses, demand accountability and defend the principle that government derives its legitimacy from the people.

The answer to an unaccountable establishment is not despair. It is more democracy. That is what judicial reform is about in Israel, to restore our democracy usurped by a deep state dictatorial judicial system.

And both Americans and Israelis must wake up, and vote properly in elections for the parties that want to neuter the deep state, before the mainstream media and unelected officials succeed in convincing us that the parties protecting the deep state are the ones “protecting democracy.”

We will overcome. Don’t despair. Strengthen your faith and help us at the Pulse of Israel in sharing the truth.

Remember, we are winning and we will win!

Am Yisrael Chai!!!

Elisha Yered:Arab Violence Against Settlers: Sheep Poisoned Shepherds then Ambushed. Left Wing Anarchist Involved

בס"ד
אל המקום אשר...

*Serial lawlessness: Another flock of sheep poisoned, anarchists recorded watching nearby*

Just three days after a terrorist squad from the village of Al-Mu'ayr infiltrated the pastures of a nearby Jewish farm and carried out a poisoning attack, the poison squad arrived again today and managed to spread poison without being detected and lead to the deaths of additional goats in the herd.

This time, in addition to spreading the poison, the terrorists initiated an ambush on the shepherds accompanied by extreme left-wing activists. While the shepherds were trying to provide veterinary care to the goats that had developed severe poisoning symptoms and were dying, dozens of other terrorists emerged from the village and began throwing stones at the farm's residents.

Extreme left-wing activist Yonatan Pollak, who was arrested in connection with a series of riots he led in the past, was recorded watching from the roof of a nearby building along with Arabs from Mu'ayr. According to the shepherds' testimonies, Pollak was at the scene before the incident began, which raises the suspicion that he knew in advance about the planned ambush.

HaKol HaYehudi:

About three weeks ago, during an operation in the area of the village of Kusra in Samaria, the commander of a force of fighters in the area authorized his soldiers to complete a Minyan for a group of Jews who were there.
The IDF claimed that this was contrary to orders since the forces were instructed not to carry out actions that could be interpreted as identification with or support for the activities of people from a nearby hill to which the worshipers belonged.
After an investigation, it was decided to remove the force commander from his position, and it was decided not to take any action against the fighters since they acted in accordance with the instructions they received from their commander.

The commander's dismissal sparked a wave of angry reactions on social media, which were outraged at the dismissal of a commander whose only crime was to approve completing a Minyan.

Settlement activist Elisha Yered wrote: "We have reached the realms of madness in incitement against the Settler community.
An IDF combatant commander who left his home again after hundreds of days of reserve duty was actually removed from his post because he authorized his soldiers to complete a Minyan on the Tel Talpiot Hill.

The security establishment is doing everything in its power to drive a wedge between IDF fighters and the settlement pioneers, and is raging wildly against any officer or fighter who refuses to see his brother as an enemy. We have gone completely crazy."

The Torat Lahima organization responded sarcastically: "Central Command Commander Avi Balut:
If we strengthen the economy in the Palestinian Authority and bring in workers - that will reduce Muslim terrorism!
But if we pray in a minyan with the hill boys in a sleepy guard post that we set up near Kotsra, it will strengthen Jewish terrorism!"

לאחר תחקיר, הוחלט להדיח את מפקד הכוח מתפקידו, נגד הלוחמים הוחלט לא לנקוט בצעדים מאחר ופעלו בהתאם להוראות שקיבלו ממפקדם.

Re: IDF Teens Arrested? Letter to IDSF Habitchonistim Israel Defense and Security Forum regarding interview with IDF Res. Brigadier General Winner.

בס"ד

Dear IDSF Habitchonistim Israel Defense and Security Forum and readers:

Let's remember that this is a Machloket LeShem Shamayim and it is necessary to be transparent and be respectful and air our opinions. Many opinions come from ignorance and often there are conflicting opinions until a third perspective reconciles the differences. May Hashem open our eyes to see the Emet!

Please share with IDF Res. Brigadier General Winner.

Please listen to Rabbi Michael Weichbrod from Homebound to Eretz Yisroel, an insider, describe who these heroic teens are and why there might be justified incidences of violence, namely property damage on Arabs.

Israeli Settlers: Heroes or Terrorists

Rabbi Weichbrod's video post was in response to a post by Rabbi Avi Shafran in JNS.

Opinion
Violent settler youth betray Judaism
The actions of this small but misguided lot violate the grave prohibition against harming innocents.
Rabbi Avi Shafran

It relates to IDSF Habitchonistim recent interview as well:

IDF Brigadier General Res. Erez Winner
"It's only 70 Israeli Teens and they were arrested" IDF General sets the record straight. Interview with IDSF

My original comments before hearing Rabbi Weichbrod's perspective:
Why are "violent kids throwing random Molotov Cocktails" .... getting released when they finally see a judge?

On what basis were they arrested to begin with? No Habeas Corpus? Why are they held for months with no proof of wrongdoing?

Maybe, indeed,  they were released because there was no evidence of any wrongdoing?

Who are these 70-100 teens????
You can't say because they are minors?

It is easy to put the blame on kids you can not name without any evidence,  and say they are guilty, but bring no charges, based on the say so of Shabak and the Division of "Jewish Terror".

Please ask Elisha Yered and Elchonon Gruner who these kids are and please show real evidence and proof of wrongdoing. These kids seem to have come out of thin air.

Mitnachalim do not attack innocent Arabs. They are G-d fearing. They are shepherds and farmers who want to reSettle our Ancient Biblical Homeland. They are kids and lots of wholesome families.

However, Jews believe that when someone comes to Kill you, you need to preempt. Self Defense is a basic human right.

Please end feeding blood libels against innocent teens. This serves to reflect negatively on the Mitnachalim.

One can not help but conclude that is precisely why Shabak and the IDF are blaming 70-100 random teens. It serves to further a political agenda, and further the false narrative of "Settler Violence" be it  teens, or shmeens.

Please address the 4 points raised by Avi Abelow below.

Thank you for your consideration.

We know from Parshat Duma in 2015 that a "fringe group" were condemned across the board, before any investigation to speak of, within days based on the say so of Shabak and Hebrew Graffiti found at the scene. Hilltop Maccabees were blood libeled, their basic civil rights taken from them, 2 were tortured until they confessed to the Duma arson. Minor A tried to commit suicide.  They were the scapegoats of a political agenda that needed  to have on record statistics of "Settler Violence"  to satisfy hostile mainstream media to further the establishment of a Palestinian State.

Ten years later, now close to 11 years, Amiram Ben Uliel, an innocent man with a wife and a child is still sitting in jail. His incarceration for many years was isolation. He had worse conditions that the worst  Arab Terrorist, based on his  false confession following torture with no other evidence.

Why should the public trust Shabak and their version of accusations against random teens?

The People now demand Evidence of wrongdoing!

Don't frame innocent people for a political agenda.

Pursue Justice. Remember that there is a G-d who Judges us up in Heaven.

Why are you accepting the lies Fatah, albeit American Citizens are feeding Congress and why aren't you showing any real evidence of wrongdoing  from these 70-100 teens?

Perhaps because there is no real evidence and such exposure will incriminate the IDF for not deterring Arab terror and the Shabak for feeding a false narrative to satisfy a political agenda.

Avi Abelow: Qusra "Settler Violence" the Truth Behind the False Narrative in the News. Four Serious Voids of the GOI. Hilltop Maccabbees are Filling the Voids. Please share!
