Fwd: NY Post: Linda Sarsour is Anti-Semitic and Pro-Terror and No Defender for Women

Bs"d

Excellent points by ZOA. Let us be blunt and courageous.  Islam leaves much to be desired when it comes to women.  The horrendous and unspeakable horrors of the Yezidi women and children by the hands of  ISIS who consider Mohammad the prophet,  their role model,  is documented and indisputable.

So far from being an advocate for Women's rights, Sarsour by her ideology, and defender of Islam as a religion  is actually working to oppress women.  She is by no stretch of the imagination, a true defender of women's rights.

"Hijab the symbol of the most violent, anti woman, patriarchal belief system"
https://www.facebook.com/neveragaincanada/videos/810887159077480/

But in the upside down world of liberal, progressive, socialist pro Palestinian, pro radical Islamic terrorist's advocates,  up means down and down means up.

But this is par for the course as deception,  also known as Taqiyya is the modus operandi of Islam.

May G-d Bless and Protect Israel from harm and may the Light of the G-d of Israel and Truth shine bright in the sea of darkness.

NEW YORK, May 11, 2017

Women's March co-organizer Linda Sarsour said in her speech to a Jewish Voice for Peace conference in Chicago on Sunday that she's "providing a service . . . that I'm allowing the Jewish community to have the real hard conversation that it always needed to be having" about whether it should support Israel.
Thanks! Let me return the favor and encourage Sarsour to have a hard conversation about how she is preaching hatred while claiming to be fighting for equality, and putting women down while saying she's trying to lift them up.
The Brooklyn-born Sarsour, daughter of Palestinian immigrants, shared the dais Sunday with another darling of the feminist "resistance," Rasmea Odeh — convicted in Israel of killing two Hebrew University students in a 1969 terrorist attack and of planning an attack on the British Consulate. After her release, Odeh was able to immigrate to the United States by hiding her crime. She's now being deported to Jordan.

In a flattering interview with Ha'aretz, Sarsour advocated a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in which the Jewish state would no longer exist.
Odeh has become a leftist hero. Sunday night, she and Sarsour embraced, and Sarsour gushed to the audience about feeling "honored and privileged to be here in this space, and honored to be on this stage with Rasmea."
It's a curious embrace of terrorism and anti-Semitism from a recipient of a $500,000 taxpayer grant from Mayor de Blasio, as Sarsour's group, the Arab American Association of New York, was last year. Sarsour, in fact, has been an important ally of de Blasio's since his election — a role she's sure to reprise in the mayor's bid for a second term.
Sarsour said last month feminism is "about the rights of all women." Yet in the same interview, when asked whether there's "room for people who support the state of Israel" in the women's movement, she said: "There can't be in feminism." Apparently, Sarsour doesn't believe all women deserve equal rights — Israeli and Israel-supporting women are an exception. And, by her logic, since she isn't for the rights of all women, she isn't a feminist.
In a flattering interview with Ha'aretz, Sarsour advocated a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in which the Jewish state would no longer exist. And Sarsour once tweeted that "nothing is creepier than Zionism." Meaning that her struggles, whether they're for Palestinians or women, are just, but the Jewish liberation movement has no right to exist.
In her speech to Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization of extremist Jewish activists dedicated to delegitimizing Israel, Sarsour said, "There's always been anti-Semitism," and people must fight it.
She doesn't seem to grasp that advocating wiping Israel off the map, as she does, is fighting for the continued oppression of Jews, denying their self-determination and taking away their safe haven — nor did she seem to grasp the chutzpah required to make a statement like that after embracing and praising Odeh.
Sarsour doesn't only deny the rights of Jewish and pro-Israel women — for example, she said Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a prominent critic of radical Islam and victim of female genital mutilation should have her vagina taken away.
Sarsour claimed that Zionists are asking her "to somehow leave out a portion of my identity so you can be welcomed to a space to work on justice . . . We, as Palestinian-Americans . . . will not change who we are to make anyone comfortable."
Here's the thing: No one asked Sarsour to stop being a Palestinian-American or wanting there to be a Palestinian state. What pro-Israel feminists — like myself and Emily Shire, who wrote a New York Times column that sparked the question of feminism and Zionism — are saying is, we may not agree on the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but we agree that we want equal rights for women, so let's join forces on that.
But Sarsour is an adherent of intersectionality, an idea that women cannot separate the different elements of a woman's identity, such that the oppression of marginalized groups is compounded with women's oppression. The women's movement, according to people who believe this idea, can't just be about equality for women.
Therefore, Sarsour has argued, Palestinian women suffer more than Palestinian men and the women's movement must be anti-Israel. What she forgets is that, by that logic, Israeli women suffer more than Israeli men, for example, when Hamas shoots rockets from Gaza at Israeli civilians or Palestinian terrorists try to run them over.
Yet she doesn't think all bigotry must be fought. "Of course there's anti-Semitism," she said Sunday, adding that she doesn't ask for Jews' political opinions before she opposes discrimination against them. But then, she said anti-Semitism "can't exactly compare . . . to anti-black racism or Islamophobia."
Sorry, Jews, your safety doesn't really matter. Then again, that's not surprising from someone who thinks Israel shouldn't exist and praises a murderer of Israelis.
Any movement that seeks to uplift women shouldn't be led by someone so unapologetically discriminatory, or it cannot claim to stand for the rights of all women. Women deserve better than Linda Sarsour's doublespeak.

Fwd: James Comey Fired. Mike Huckabee Newsletter May 10, 2017

Today's Commentary:  James Comey Fired -- A Work Of Art -- Violent Hatred

Robin,

Democrats who are falsely claiming that preexisting conditions will no longer be covered under Republican health care reform had better pray that whiplash isn't a preexisting condition, since some of them are going to suffer it after stopping on a dime and doing a snap about-face on their demands that FBI Director James Comey be fired.

All it took was two words from President Trump ("You're fired") to make his critics go from screaming for Comey's head to screaming for a special prosecutor to look into this outrageous – even treasonous! – abuse of presidential power in firing him. It was even called a "coup" (odd, since that involves the overthrow of a legitimately elected leader, not the firing of a subordinate by a legitimately elected leader). According to Chris Matthews, there was a "whiff of fascism" in the firing.

I admit, it was kind of fun seeing Democrats struggle to explain why they were so outraged over getting what they've wanted for so long. Hillary Clinton can't even place an order at the Jack in the Box drive-thru without blaming her election loss on James Comey. On Fox News, Tucker Carlson had to struggle like an avian dentist pulling hen's teeth to get a Democratic spokesman to explain how he could be simultaneously happy and mad. The best the guy could manage was to darkly claim that while Comey deserved firing, the "timing was suspicious" because of the ongoing investigation of alleged Russian ties to the Trump campaign.

But if that's his only beef, then Comey likely could've been fired a year from now and the timing would still be suspicious, since this Russian investigation is dragging on with no end in sight and hampering the Administration from getting on with important work, with nothing of substance to show for it. FBI insiders have been complaining that it's one of several investigations Comey seemed to be slow-walking that should have wrapped up long ago. And news flash to Democrats: most Americans are satisfied that Hillary Clinton lost because she was Hillary Clinton, not because Boris and Natasha stuffed the ballot boxes in Oshkosh, by gosh.

As for the Democrats' argument that if Comey deserved to be fired, then Obama Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and Attorney General Loretta Lynch would have recommended it and Obama would have fired him, I'd reply: Are you kidding me? I could name plenty of Obama officials who deserved to be fired, but try to name any who were. If you were loyal to Obama, you could ship guns to Mexican gangsters, let Americans die on your watch and lie about it, abuse the IRS to target non-profit groups for their political beliefs, "lose" records you're required by federal law to archive, spy on reporters, let veterans die on health care waiting lists and cover it up, drag the Little Sisters of the Poor into federal court to force them to pay for contraceptives, and even be found in contempt of Congress and still keep your job. Obama appointees may have been the only American workers who had true job security during the Obama years. That's another reason why Americans replaced him with a man famous for saying, "You're fired."

President Trump made it clear that he was firing Comey on the recommendation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who was praised for his integrity by Chuck Schumer before his 94-6 Senate confirmation vote, less than a month ago (which made Sen. Schumer's calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the firing extra whiplash-inducing).

Rosenstein wrote a letter listing the many reasons why Comey had lost the trust of Americans in both parties, stretching from his press conference last summer that seemed to indict Hillary while declining to indict her, to just last week, when he testified before Congress that Hillary aide Huma Abedin had forwarded "hundreds or thousands" of government emails, some classified, to her husband Anthony Weiner's unsecured, and probably unhygienic, laptop for printing. Turns out it was actually only a handful, and they weren't classified until after the fact. Yet Comey insisted he has "no regrets."

The public might not have paid much attention to Comey's performance at that hearing, but it's been reverberating through the hallways at the FBI like the "time's up" gong on "The Gong Show."

Trump said in a statement, "The FBI is one of our Nation's most cherished and respected institutions, and today will mark a new beginning for our crown jewel of law enforcement." And he's right. A recent Fox News poll found that 80% of the public trust the FBI. Meanwhile, a poll by the Hill newspaper found that only 17% of the public had a favorable view of Comey (among Democrats, who claim to be so upset by his firing, his favorable rating was 12%). Americans still respect the FBI, they just have more trust in Fox Mulder than in James Comey.

So most Americans thought Comey needed to go. I've thought so ever since that first Hillary press conference – and believe it or not, not because he let her off the hook, but because he so wildly overstepped his powers in doing so. He was the head of an inquiry (not even a formal investigation with subpoena powers). His job was solely to gather facts. Yet he took it upon himself to interpret the law like a judge and decide what a prosecutor and grand jury would do with those facts. He not only violated the rules of his agency, he sent a message to all Americans that if you are powerful and well-connected, you can get away with things the rest of never could. Hillary might think that the later, election-eve reopening of her case was what did her in, but I'd argue that her fate was sealed when Comey let her skate the first time. That cemented the reputation she already had as a powerful insider who thought the rules don't apply to her. She went from merely benefiting from the double standard to being the public face of it, and just at a moment when struggling Americans were fed up to the gills with smug, unfair elitism.

Comey also symbolized a wider problem that we've seen with entrenched federal employees stalling, leaking and otherwise trying to undermine the new Administration. I've read reports of how many in Washington wanted Comey to go but were too cowed to say so because he knew all their FBI file secrets. He was described as the most powerful man in Washington. It was said that like J. Edgar Hoover, he could keep the job as long as he wanted because nobody would dare fire him. Tucker Carlson even revealed that political figures who came on his show had no fear of bashing the President on TV, but said during commercial breaks that they were too afraid to criticize Comey publicly.

Maybe it took a Trump, who's so used to seeing scurrilous things about him in the media (like that discredited "Russia dossier") that he doesn't care what might be said about him, he's going to do what he thinks needs to be done. It did need to be done, and better late than never. In the United States, the people we voters send to Washington to represent us should never have to cower before the superior powers of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats.

Sincerely,

Mike Huckabee

A Work Of Art

By Mike Huckabee

Here's something for liberal elitists in deep blue metropolises to ponder, as they're watching "The Daily Show" and smugly laughing at all us less-evolved dunces in the hinterlands. A student in Scotland was so amused by the "modern art" being taken seriously at a gallery that he smuggled in a pineapple and left it behind, to see if it would be mistaken for art. When he checked back, he found it had not only been mistaken for art, it had been assumed to be so precious, it had been encased in glass to protect it.

Before you scoff that "it can't happen here," consider that New York's Whitney Museum of American Art is currently showing an "artwork" that consists of 2,755 slices of (appropriately enough) smelly, rotting baloney nailed to the wall. Also, something similar to the pineapple prank already occurred in San Francisco, with similar results. Read the link for the story. It was such a perfect practical joke, it was like…a work of art!

Violent Hatred

By Mike Huckabee

President Trump met last week with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Afterward, Trump said he hoped to act as a mediator or arbitrator for peace between the Palestinians and Israelis. And Abbas made it abundantly clear why that is impossible. First, he called on Israel to withdraw to its pre-1967 borders, a popular demand among Israel's enemies because it would leave them with borders that would be impossible to defend against attacks. Second, Abbas said nothing about stopping his government's support of terrorism and anti-Semitism, which ranges from teaching small children to hate and kill Jews in classrooms to granting state honors to terrorists who murder innocents Israelis and government payouts to their survivors.

That type of vicious, violent hatred can't be hammered out or compromised in mediation. It needs to be thoroughly and sincerely repudiated before anyone espousing it is even allowed into the same room as the table where serious leaders sit down to broker peace deals.

On the same day, a PA official and a PLO official announced that a main street in Jenin will be named after kidnapper-murderer Karim Younes:

"Jenin District Governor Ibrahim Ramadan and Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners' Affairs Issa Karake announced that one of the main streets in the city [of Jenin] will be named after veteran prisoner Karim Younes (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1)."
[Al-Ayyam, May 3, 2017]

The following are more detailed descriptions of the 12 terrorists honored by Abbas' institutions:

Hassan Salameh - Hamas terrorist who is serving 46 life sentences for heading the terror infrastructure that carried out 2 suicide bombings on no. 18 buses in Jerusalem (first attack on Feb. 25, 1996, second attack on March 3, 1996), and the suicide bombing at the Ashkelon Junction hitchhike point (Feb. 25, 1996). 46 people were murdered in the attacks and around 100 were wounded.

Abbas Al-Sayid - serving 35 life sentences for planning two suicide bombings, one at a Passover dinner at the Park Hotel in Netanya (30 murdered, March 27, 2002) and another outside a shopping Mall in Netanya (5 murdered, May 18, 2001).

Marwan Barghouti - Palestinian terrorist who is serving 5 life sentences for orchestrating three shooting attacks that murdered 5 people: one attack in Jerusalem (June 12, 2001) in which Greek monk Tsibouktsakis Germanus was murdered by terrorist Ismail Radaida and another unidentified terrorist, another attack at a gas station in Givat Zeev near Jerusalem (Jan. 15, 2002) in which Yoela Hen, 45, was murdered by terrorists led by Mohammed Matla, and one  shooting and stabbing attack at the Sea Food Market restaurant in Tel Aviv (March 5, 2002) in which Eli Dahan, 53, Yosef Habi, 52, and Police Officer Sergeant-Major Salim Barakat, 33, were murdered by terrorist Ibrahim Hasouna. When arrested by Israel in 2002, Barghouti headed the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected member of the Palestinian Authority parliament. On Dec. 4, 2016, he was elected to Fatah's Central Committee.

Karim and Maher Younes - Israeli Arab cousins each serving a 40-year sentence for kidnapping and murdering Israeli soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980 together with his cousin Maher Younes. Originally sentenced to life in prison, but Israeli President Shimon Peres reduced their sentence in 2012.

Ahmad Sa'adat - serving a 30-year sentence for heading the PFLP terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime.

Bassem Al-Khandaqji - member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Serving 3 life sentences for his involvement in the suicide bombing at the Tel Aviv Carmel Market on Nov. 1, 2004, in which 3 people were murdered.

Nael and Fakhri Barghouti - Palestinian terrorists who murdered an Israeli army officer in January 1978, near Ramallah. Both were sentenced to life but were released in the Shalit prisoner exchange deal in 2011. Nael Barghouti was arrested again in 2014 for violating the terms of his release by offering Hamas to serve as its minister of prisoners' affairs, and is serving a life sentence plus an additional 18 years.

Zaid Bassisi - an Islamic Jihad terrorist who planned a car bombing outside a school in Netanya on May 30, 2001, wounding eight people. Bassisi is serving a life sentence and an additional 55 years.

Wajdi Joudeh - a senior member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) terrorist organization who was involved in the Geha Junction suicide bombing near Tel Aviv on Dec. 26, 2003, in which 4 people were murdered and 24 others were wounded. Joudeh is serving 25 years.

Fuad Al-Shubaki - a senior PA official who is serving a 20-year prison term. He was behind the attempt to smuggle 50 tons of illegal weapons to the Palestinian Authority aboard the Karine A weapons' ship in 2002.

Wael Al-Jaghoub  - a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization who, according to reports in the Arab media, was convicted of establishing PFLP terror cells and carrying out terror attacks. Al-Jaghoub was arrested on May 1, 2001, and is serving a life sentence. PMW was unable to verify the details of his crimes.

The following is a longer excerpt of the Al-Ayyam article announcing the naming of a street after terrorist Karim Younes:

Headline: "A main street in Jenin is named after Karim Younes"
"Jenin District Governor Ibrahim Ramadan and Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners' Affairs Issa Karake announced that one of the main streets in the city [of Jenin] will be named after veteran prisoner Karim Younes (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1). This was during a central mass rally organized across from the solidarity tent that was put up as a sign of support for the prisoners waging the battle of dignity and freedom (i.e., a hunger strike by terrorist prisoners that began on April 17, 2017)."
