Friend,

There are rumblings from the East that should disturb every American, as Vladimir Putin continues making moves that suggest he's willing to risk nuclear war to rebuild the Soviet Union.

Just over the past couple of months, we've seen aggression such as repeated provocations of US ships and planes by the Russian military, the bombardment of Aleppo, a breakdown of communications as Putin ignores Secretary of State John Kerry over Syria, the Russian violation of the INF arms control treaty, and now, in a chilling replay of history, Putin has mobilized nuclear missiles into the westernmost region of Kaliningrad.

Russia claims it's just a "routine drill," but the President of Ukraine warned that he thinks Putin is planning to take over half of Ukraine to add to the "Russian Empire." Putin fed that fear by warning Russian officials to call their relatives home from other nations in light of the heightened chances of global war. Meanwhile, about all we're hearing from our media about Russia are attempts by the Clinton campaign to blame Russia for the WikiLeaks hack, so we'll focus on the messenger instead of the message.

For what it's worth, Putin denied any involvement in the hacking, calling it a lot of "hysteria" and claiming there's nothing in the US election campaign that's in Russia's interest, just one candidate trying to exploit Russia to win. Normally, I'd never believe a thing Putin says, but it's a sad commentary on the Clinton campaign that they've made it a tossup as to which one is less likely to be telling the truth. Voters who are about to select a commander-in-chief in inherit the dangerous mess Obama's made of the world should remember that Hillary Clinton kicked off her tenure as Secretary of State by gong to Russia with a pathetic prop "reset button" from Staples, signaling to Russia the new Obama-style approach of abject weakness in foreign policy. Because nothing insures stability in the world like America projecting weakness.

Well, the US-Russia relationship has certainly been "reset," all right. Reset back to the 1950s. Heckuva job, Hillary and Barack.

Sincerely,

Mike Huckabee

President Of The Deplorables?

By Mike Huckabee

If you feel bad that the latest WikiLeaks document release showed that Hillary Clinton hates everyday Americans like you, cheer up (And note to media desperately trying to spin this: No, Podesta didn't say she hated the phrase "everyday Americans," merely as a linguistic concept; he said she was starting to hate everyday Americans, with no quotation marks around it). The hacked emails show that her campaign's director of communications also denigrated Catholics and Evangelicals, so the left's hatred is not reserved just for everyday Americans. In fact, aside from Wall Street bankers, there seem to be very few people the Clintons and their circle don't look down on with disdain.

It makes you wonder why she'd want to lower herself to be the President of all us irredeemable deplorables, and why so many voters actually want to curse her with a job that's obviously beneath her.

Disqualified

By Mike Huckabee

Veep candidate Mike Pence lit into Hillary Clinton Monday for her callous treatment of the families killed under her "watch" in the 2012 attack on our diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya. He hadn't yet seen the latest WikiLeaks release of John Podesta emails that show Democrats on the Benghazi Committee secretly sent information to the Clinton campaign to help her, and that her staffers even debated whether it would be appropriate for her to crack jokes during her Benghazi testimony or whether that might make it appear that she wasn't showing enough remorse.

To be perfectly blunt, I don't give a flying fig how much remorse Hillary shows for Benghazi. I'd just like to see, for once in her life, some tiny inkling of evidence that she actually feels any remorse. But as long as enough people seem willing to ignore all the giant warning flags and entrust her with the job of commander-in-chief, I guess she figures that at this point, what difference would feeling any genuine remorse make?

The Little Jewish Village That Makes Obama Boil

Halfway to the sky sits a tiny village of little white houses that has attracted the ire of the White House.

The village of Amona with its small white houses and red roofs could easily be mistaken for some lost Italian village or a dusty California town. But the White House would not have "boiled in anger", as one anonymous official claimed, over the doings of some Italian village.

There's only one place on earth that makes Obama's blood boil. It isn't Iran or North Korea. It's Israel.

Amona's small scattering of houses have a fraction of the square footage of the White House. The 40 families living there in defiance of Islamic terrorists and left-wing lawfarers would hardly be noticeable if they all crowded into the White House foyer. And yet they've been condemned by the State Department in more virulent tones than most Muslim dictators.

What is it about this handful of Jews caught between heaven and earth that outrages so many?

That may be the great question of history. It will not be solved among the sheep pens and orchards, the little white houses of Amona and their inhabitants, who despite the rage of the big White House, continue to go to work each day, to raise their children and to worship in the way of their ancestors.

In the official parlance of the media, Amona is a "settlement".  That is to say it dates back a mere 3,300 years to the time when Joshua, born a slave in Egypt, commanded the Jews, "'Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come back to me, and I will cast lots for you here before the Lord in Shilo."

Today Shilo is a city of some 3,500. Like Jerusalem, it is also deemed a settlement. But on the list of places described by Joshua's men, the mere speck of Amona appears before Jerusalem.

But then Amona, unlike Jerusalem, vanished from history. For thousands of years the name would have only meant something to the most dedicated biblical scholars. And then the left went to war against Amona. And out of that hatred the forgotten town was raised up from its forgotten place in history.

The handful of families living in Amona have been the subject of more legal proceedings, international debates, threats and international outrage than most genocides. 3,000 feet above sea level, its residents look up at a kind blue sky and down at an angry world that is unwilling to let them live in peace.

They meet the challenges of gravity and rage with simple faith. Asked about the threat of Islamic terror, a 5-year old girl answered, "As God helped Joshua, so he will also help us."

Amona and its residents need all the help they can get. They have been under siege for decades. What the Islamic terrorists couldn't do to the residents, lawyers and activists who receive funding from the Soros network and assorted international left-wing billion dollar organizations, strive to accomplish.

Demolition and eviction orders have been issued. Police have converged on the handful of buildings with clubs and yells. In one such battle a 15-year-old girl, whom we only know as Nili, stood in their way. The image of the teenage girl blocking the path of dozens of riot police in black became a Pulitzer Prize winning photo. "Anyone who looks today at the ruins of the houses in Amona - understands that in this operation there was no sense whatever, except destruction," she said in an interview.

There is still no sense whatsoever to the war against Amona except destruction. It isn't about the land.

Amona's main antagonist is the extremist left-wing group Peace Now. There is nothing peaceful about Peace Now which seeks peace only with Islamic terrorists. One co-founder, Uri Avnery, declared, "The time has come to bury them." Another Peace Now co-founder, Yigal Tumarkin weighed in, "My true contribution would be if I grabbed a sub-machine-gun, instead of a pen and pencil, and killed them."

The children of Israel's small towns and villages excite such unnatural fury from left-wing notables.

Under pressure from a radical left-wing judiciary, Israel's government decided to relocate the families of Amona by building houses for them in Shilo. It is this which reportedly made Obama boil like a little teapot. The Jews of Amona are not to be permitted to live in their town. Or in any other.

According to some anonymous official, the plan to build houses for the evacuees in Shiloh is "of great concern" to the White House. Anyone wondering why Obama isn't concerned about ISIS or the economy had better realize that his eye is firmly fixed on a small town in Israel up against the bulldozer.

And he's determined to see to it that the bulldozer wins.

State Department deputy spokesman Mark Toner claimed that building 98 homes would endanger peace. Peace in Israel is as dead as the dodo. But somehow it never seems to be endangered by any amount of Muslim suicide bombings, stabbings or rockets. The Palestinian Authority funds Islamic terrorism by paying salaries to terrorists using taxpayer money dispensed to them by Obama.

And this butchery of Jewish families and massacres of Rabbis in no way endangers peace.

It is only the very real risk that the families of Amona might find some shelter that renders the glorious infrastructure of "a viable Palestinian state more remote". Like Haman, the Islamic terrorist state cannot stand to see a Binyaminite, no matter how alone, standing tall in defiance of its hunger and malice. These handfuls of homes represent, according to the State Department, "perpetual occupation."

State has a point. 3,300 years isn't quite perpetual, but it's a lot longer than Toner has been hanging around D.C. It's a long longer than appeasers who know not to eat with their left hand and to curse Israel when visiting Muslim countries have been sliming their way around Foggy Bottom.

Can a few dozen families really "block" the rise of an Islamic terrorist state in Israel? During Israel's War of Independence the small village of Kfar Darom held out against sustained assaults from the Muslim Brotherhood. Among the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists was an Egyptian Jihadist named Yasser Arafat.

Moral courage enables a handful of people to do what the massive array of government cannot.

Nili explained her actions by saying, "You see me in the photograph, one against many, but that is only an illusion. Behind the many stands one man... but behind me stands the Lord." Today that man is Barack Hussein Obama. The residents of Amona stand in the way of his dream of an Islamic Palestine.

Who are the people of Amona? For the most part, they are children. Amona has nearly 200 of them. 5 children are on the small side for a local family. Today Amona could pass for a village, tomorrow it's a town and the day after it's a city. That has been Israel's history. In a world where the great cities of civilization are overrun by the terrible tide of Muslim demographics, it is a place whose people still believe in the future. Such little villages full of white houses with red roofs are fortresses of hope.

In Amona, you will find deer meandering through the street. The Nizri family, with eight children, sees to the casks of French oak in the winery. There are raspberries to pick, tools to mend and a life to build.

It is not mere height above sea level that enables the people of Amona to tower above their enemies. It is their determination to live lives of ordinary courage. They have attracted the ire and enmity of some of the most powerful people in their country, their region and the world. And yet they go on.

Obama boils in his anger like a lobster in a pot. The UN Security Council has scheduled a special meeting where Israel will be denounced by the likes of Venezuela and Angola. And in Amona, the children play.

NEW YORK, October 10, 2016

By Richard Pollock

Huma Abedin, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's closest aide, urged former President Bill Clinton in 2009 to reject a speaking invitation before the American Israel Public Affairs Council (AIPAC), asking his assistant in an email, do "u really want to consider sending him into that crowd?"

Abedin's comment about "that crowd" has sparked anger and consternation among Jewish and non-Jewish leaders who consider it hostile to Jews and to the State of Israel. Her comments are raising uncomfortable questions about Abedin's past and her family's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

"Appalling" is how Morton Klein, national president of the Zionist Organization of America, described the email, adding that it, "shows hostility toward Jews and Israel in light of the fact that 'that crowd' gives huge ovations to White House speakers."

Klein pointed to the Abedin family's ties to a radical Islamic group, saying, "it makes me think about the allegations about her parents and other family members who were associated with the Muslim Brotherhood."

Middle East Forum President Daniel Pipes called Abedin's comment "disdainful" of AIPAC. He also noted her past association with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Abedin's comment about "that crowd" has sparked anger and consternation among Jewish and non-Jewish leaders who consider it hostile to Jews and to the State of Israel.

"Abedin's disdainful comment about AIPAC as 'that crowd' could derive from her Muslim or her leftist identity – or both," Pipes told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Andrew McCarthy, former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York who led the prosecution against Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and others for the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, told TheDCNF Abedin's background raised security concerns.

"During Hillary Clinton's tenure at the State Department, some of us pointed out that Abedin's background raised concerns about Islamist sympathies and unfitness for a security clearance that gave her access to top-secret intelligence," McCarthy said.

Abedin was raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by fundamentalist Muslim parents who ran the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs. The journal was published by Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs, which was founded by her father Syed Abedin. Abedin remained on the masthead as an editor of the journal for 12 years until she entered the Department of State with Clinton in 2009.

Critics noted her father's main benefactor was Abdullah Omar Naseef, secretary general of the Muslim World League (MWL). The U.S. Department of the Treasury designated Rabita Trust, a subsidiary of the MWL, as a terrorist entity. Osama bin Laden credited MWL as a funding source after the 9/11 attacks.

Abedin has kept her personal political views to herself. Accusations of anti-Semitism were blunted by her marriage to former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who is Jewish. That marriage is ending after Weiner was caught multiple times sexting online, most recently while sitting next to his son.

The issue of AIPAC's interest in Bill Clinton's attendance was raised in two sets of emails, all dated Sept. 10, 2009.

The State Department released them Sept. 21, 2016, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from the conservative advocacy group Citizens United.

The AIPAC issue was raised by Doug Band, who was Bill Clinton's White House "body man." Band now boasts on his corporate web site that he was "the key architect of Clinton's post-Presidency" and created and built the Clinton Global Initiative that critics link to corrupt "pay to play" deals with overseas corporations, wealthy individuals and foreign governments.

Band also was recently credited with securing access of Clinton Foundation donors to Hillary Clinton. Band is now the chairman of Teneo, a company that has been dubbed "Clinton, Inc." Abedin was senior adviser to Teneo while she was serving as deputy chief of staff for Hillary Clinton.

Abedin's special status allowing her to draw paychecks from the government and Teneo is being investigated by Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.

In a Sept. 10, 2009, email, Band told Cheryl Mills and Abedin that Bill Clinton was reluctant to attend the AIPAC Jewish forum, stating, "Aipac begging for wjc to come speak at conference. He doesn't think he should unless you all do."

Mills, Hillary's chief of staff, told Band the final decision was up to Hillary Clinton and she would touch base with her. As Mills sought that answer, Abedin comments, "U really want to consider sending him into that crowd?"

An apparently impatient Band pointedly asked, "Go or not go?"

Abedin finally responds: "No go to aipac."

It's unclear from the email exchange why they wanted to skip the AIPAC meeting. Bill Clinton twice addressed AIPAC in the 1990s as president. Hillary Clinton spoke before AIPAC in 2010 after her husband was asked to address the group.

Bill Clinton attended the funeral for Israeli leader Shimon Peres last week, but in years past, Bill Clinton has expressed more sympathy for the Palestinians than Israelis.

"I will never forget what it taught me about your suffering, your history of dispossession and dispersal, but also about your resilience and courage," he said in an open letter to the Palestinian people on Jan. 19, 2001, the day he left the White House.

He also released a statement to the Israelis. Here, however, he counseled "compromise" rather than empathy: "Compromise is often difficult and always painful. But the people and leaders of the region must understand that to seek a peace without compromise is not to seek peace at all."
