Agudah and Ou didn't really put any passion to campaign against Iran deal. Or let me rephrase. They came out for being on the record against the deal but not in Tachlis (i.e. Not to significantly derail the Iran Deal)
My guess is that they were afraid of endangering the educational funding that miraculously seem to come through in the early summer of 2015 to the point that when asked about the Iran deal and everyone was looking towards Schumer for leadership, Senator Schumer replied that he was too busy with Education issues and didn't get a chance to study it.

Dear Friend,
Last week, we sent an important alert in our weekly newsletter about helping fund security for our shuls and schools. Budget talks are in the works, and we must act fast.
With antisemitism on the rise, we are advocating for an increase in funding for the critical Non Profit Security Grant Program (NSGP) to $360 million.
CLICK HERE to send an urgent letter to your representative urging them to support this increase in funding.
The NSGP program awards thousands of grants to nonprofit organizations like day schools, synagogues, and community centers in our community. The funding can be used to increase security measures, including purchasing and installing fencing and lighting, video surveillance, X-ray machines, metal detectors, and hiring security guards.
Thanks to your help, $305 million was secured for the program last year. This year, we want to increase this funding further.
Congressmen Michael McCaul (R-TX) and Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) are leading a Dear Colleague letter to the chairwoman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security to increase program funding.
CLICK HERE to protect our schools and shuls by sending a letter to your Member of Congress and asking them to sign on to the Pascrell - McCaul appropriations request.
Thank you for your support for crucial security funding.
Best regards,
Nathan Diament
