Libya's Political Instability Makes Room for ISIS to Regroup - by Ahmed Charai

NYState blocks ICE from DMV records

Bsd

There's no problem allowing non citizens to drive legally so long as they can be vetted...If NY State blocks vetting, Democrat NYState is covering up for unvetted potential criminals as cars are proven to be even more deadly weapons than guns in the hands of dangerous terrorists or criminals.

While DMV and border control must protect confidentiality and rights of drivers, at the same time they need to protect ordinary citizens and therefore must have access in order to disclose and investigate potential terrorists and criminals with a history and/or connection with terrorism or crime before tragedy strikes!!!...no different  than withholding  a gun permit from a potential terrorist or criminal.

Bloomberg Outs His Own Reporters as Political Operatives

Posted: 24 Dec 2019 09:24 PM PST

There will never be a President Michael Bloomberg. Not unless some bankrupt African country decides to auction off the privilege to the highest bidder. But while Bloomy is no real threat to the Democrats or Republicans, his campaign is unintentionally telling the obvious truth about the role of the media.

The billionaire famously banned staff from his eponymous outlet from investigating him or fellow Dems while declaring an open season on President Trump. He responded to criticism by saying that his reporters, "get a paycheck. But with your paycheck comes some restrictions and responsibilities."

Those restrictions and responsibilities are to serve the political interests of the guy signing the checks.

The distinction between Bloomberg's media outlet and presidential campaign are non-existent. Five staffers from the outlet, an executive editor, news editor, senior editorial page editor, social media editor, and another editorial page editor, have joined the presidential campaign of the same name.

The name of the guy signing their paychecks.

In response, President Trump denied press credentials to Bloomberg News reporters to cover his campaign. That was followed by GOP chairwoman Ronna McDaniel stating that, "Media outlets should be independent and fair, and this decision proves that Bloomberg News is neither."

And that the GOP would no longer provide credentials to Bloomberg News personnel.

"We condemn any action that keeps quality news media from reporting fairly and accurately on the presidency and the leadership of the country," New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet objected.

But Is there anything wrong with banning political operatives from gaining access to your campaign?

"We have covered Donald Trump fairly and in an unbiased way since he became a candidate in 2015 and will continue to do so despite the restrictions imposed by the Trump campaign," John Micklethwait, the editor-in-chief of Bloomberg News, insisted.

But the restrictions weren't imposed by Trump, but by his own boss. Micklethwait can't say so because of the signature on his paychecks. There are lots of things he can't say and things that he must say.

In the memo put out by Micklethwait after his boss launched his campaign, he described the Bloomberg News "tradition of not investigating Mike (and his family and foundation) and we will extend the same policy to his rivals in the Democratic primaries. We cannot treat Mike's competitors differently from him." There's no problem though with treating his Republican competitors differently, as Micklethwait noted that, "our P&I team will continue to investigate the Trump administration."

Corruption can be a tradition. And refusing to investigate your own boss is corruption. Or it is if you accept the media's self-definition as public interest organizations searching for the truth.

But as Michael Bloomberg demonstrated, the media are nothing more than political operatives.

The Media Research Center filed an FEC complaint against Michael Bloomberg, Bloomberg News, and the Bloomberg 2020 campaign, for violating the law by giving Bloomberg, but not Trump, a pass.

"Bloomberg News knowingly and willfully announced that it would be giving the Candidate and the Candidate's Committee (as well as all candidates running for the Democratic nomination) a thing of value - continued investigations and reporting into the Candidate's political opponent while refraining from investigations into the Candidate," the complaint notes.

When Michael Bloomberg launched his campaign, he also announced that Bloomberg News would function as his political operatives. There's no meaningful distinction between Bloomberg News where, as MRC points out, the guy whose name is on the masthead owns 89% of the shares, and the campaign. The journalists who work for Bloomberg News quickly switched, officially or unofficially, to political operatives working for the Bloomberg 2020 campaign. Which are both controlled by the same guy.

And he should be praised for his honesty.

The media aren't biased. That's a meaningless term. Everyone is biased. Like Bloomberg News, the media is an infrastructure of political operatives who are pretending to provide a public service.

The 'quid pro quo' is more hidden than when Bloomberg orders his people not to investigate him, but it's just as real. Could a pro-Trump journalist survive for long at the New York Times, the Washington Post or CNN? Forget the ideological lean of the leadership. Their audiences would never tolerate it.

The Post's 'Democracy Dies in Darkness' brand dedicated it to a war on Trump. And that paid off with a massive influx of subscribers and readers. The ideological diversity of the paper, always marginal, dropped off the charts. The Washington Post no longer has any conservative contributors. Its former Republican section, Max Boot, and Jennifer Rubin, to a lesser degree George Will, are a choir who all write on the same topic that makes these papers profitable, the evils of Donald J. Trump.

Much as at Bloomberg News, that's what the people who sign the paychecks want. Unlike Bloomberg News, there isn't a single signer. Instead it's the mass of subscribers who want the Washington Post to be wholly dedicated to destroying Trump. The phenomenon can be seen at the New York Times which, unlike the Post, has a few remaining conservatives, but no Trump supporters, and the paper comes under fire every time one of them questions some core leftist tenet of faith such as global warming

The media is caught in its own vicious cycle of partisanship. Its partisan skew narrows its readership and viewership to an echo chamber. And that radical echo chamber demands ideological purity. The media radicalizes its audience. And that audience radicalizes the media. This vicious cycle has transformed the media into a purely political operation whose outlets no longer recognize any journalistic standards.

It's not just Bloomberg News. The media is a political operation that employs political operatives.

A radical wealthy urban subscriber base is signing the media's checks to fight their culture war against Republicans and the rest of the country. The media's journalists, corporate or non-profit, are the political operatives indirectly employed by the same people who clog ActBlue with donations.

Michael Bloomberg took that relationship out of the musty closet and into the bright light of day.

And that's a good thing.

Political operatives are at their most dangerous when they pretend to be concerned citizens, public servants, or anything other than what they are, the compensated proponents of a political cause.

Everything from onerous environmental regulations to the impeachment crisis had its roots in political operatives functioning under the guise of everything from noble scientists to dedicated FBI agents.

And the media is the worst example of political operatives pretending to be something they're not.

Michael Bloomberg will never be the President of the United States. He poses no threat to President Trump. But his ambitions and ego have already inflicted a severe blow on the media. Bloomberg's actions have opened up a debate within the media about the legitimacy of his outlet's coverage. Even while starring in his very own version of Citizen Kane, he exposed the truth about what the media is.

Some conservatives are content to criticize media bias. But the media is no more biased than Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, or Michael Bloomberg are biased. They're politicians. The media is a political operation. Its personnel are political operatives. Their goal is no different than that of the politicians they support. Some politicians employ them, as in Bloomberg's case, or, as is more common, their major donors do.

President Trump and the GOP were right to dump Bloomberg News. The Washington Post and the New York Times should be next.

Political operatives don't deserve press credentials on the campaigns they're working to undermine.

UK Prime Minister Johnson Issues Hanukkah Message to Jews: ‘Britain Would Not Be Britain Without Its Jewish Community’

On Black Supremacy and the failure of the Mainstream Black Community to condemn Black Anti-Semitism and Hate

Bsd

In Judaism and in the Torah, rebuking sinners happens all the time.

Even if an individual is righteous, if they sin, there is mention of it in the Torah and usually a price to pay.   It is recognized and accepted that Jews are human and don't always act in a way that is proper in God's eyes or in the eyes of fellow man. They are admonished and punished.  This is to teach others about reward and punishment, right from wrong.

True repentance is an option but it must be preceeded with acknowledgment of wrongdoing.

In  Judaism, Kingship,  is rooted in the willingness to admit that one sinned. King David and his lineage, comes from the Tribe of Judah. This is the line of Kingship and this Tribe's greatest strengths is exemplified by owning up to ones wrongdoings, being a grateful recipient appreciative of all the good, plus expressing thanks and singing praises to G-d.

Judaism as a religion and the Torah does not cover up sinners nor sins. The Torah  and Prophets are filled with narratives of Jews sinning.

Soros, Bernie Sanders, Jerry Nadler,  Charles Schumer, J Street etc. are examples of progressive Jews that have strayed from G-ds Covenant with the Nation of Israel. They align with the political left and fellow  Democrats who have embedded Islamists and black antisemites in their ranks and cover for black-antisemites and their hate crimes to boot.

They rush to condemn IDF of crimes against humanity when the IDF is engaged in Self Defense the Right of any Sovereign Nation and they slander Settler Youth in Judea and Samaria who SYMBOLIZE  the "Occupation" of being Terrorists and Ticking Time bombs  with no credible evidence other than graffiti and forced confessions (following torture and no habeas corpus).

As fellow Jews we will and should admonish Jews who defy, rebel and betray G-d and the Torah.

The mainstream leadership in the Black Community under the alliance of the Democrats cover up wrongdoings of those who have committed horrific crimes and are black.  We have yet to hear strong condemnation of hate crimes and rhetoric resulting in the cold blooded murder of Jews by antiSemitic Black Supremicists.

Antisemitic Blacks typically project their own hatred of Jews and accuse Jews of racism and White Supremacy without factual evidence of any kind.

G-d fearing Jews condemn evil Jews like Soros who funds and empowers evil. Why can't the Black Community condemn the black-antisemites, perpetrators of recent hate crimes  in Jersey City, Boro Park, Williamsburg and Crown Heights?

May G-d Bless leaders like Pastor Dumisani and Rabbi Capers Funnye an authentic Black Hebrew, who do!

Trump Defies Democrats by Holding Massive Rally as Impeachment Is Finalized: 'I'm Having a Good Time!'

Re: Mike Huckabee. An open letter to Nancy Pelosi. Comments

Bsd

Dear Governor  Huckabee emeritus,

Psalms Chapter 18
26With a kind one, You show Yourself kind, with a sincere man, You show Yourself sincere. כועִם־חָסִ֥יד תִּתְחַסָּ֑ד עִם־גְּבַ֥ר תָּ֜מִ֗ים תִּתַּמָּֽם:
27With a pure one, You show Yourself pure, but with a crooked one, You deal crookedly. כזעִם־נָבָ֥ר תִּתְבָּרָ֑ר וְעִם־עִ֜קֵּ֗שׁ תִּתְפַּתָּֽל:

Excellent ideas. Apply the exact standards  they used in the House in the Senate.

The Democrats must be deligitimized as a party. This "party" is a wolf masquerading as "Democrats" and their "values" are unG-dly. Their "values" are in direct defiance not only to the American Constitution and the Bill of Rights, but to Laws of Universal Morality as defined by the 7 Noahide Laws.

The platform of the "Democrats" party openly defy the 7 Noahide laws and do so with both pride and arrogance.

Examples include murder and tearing a limb from a live animal sanctioned under the cover of reproductive rights.

Immorality  is sanctioned in their civil law that emboldens, protects and supports LGBTQ Pride  and Gender Fluidity.

All humans have rights under G-d but pride for immorality is unG-dly.

The laws that abolish  phrases like One Nation  under G-d, laws that forbid prayer, are laws that wish to remove G-d from the narrative. Their replacement of G-d and His Laws are self serving ruling elite "Autocrats" with a redefined set of  what constitutes values and ethics of the Democratic Party.  This is determined by subjective determinations coupled with whether or not there are those who are offended. Gone are the G-dly guidelines of thousands of generations.

The sham of justice and their courts was on full display of the House Judiciary and the precedent they set.  As you spelled out, the way they conducted proceedings in the House should determine how they are to be conducted in the Senate. Let the Senate decide the rules etc.

All Congresspeople must play fair and if they don't like the way the impeachment proceedings are conducted in the Senate, then start from scratch.

The House impeachment must be declared null, a void judgement and if they wish to proceed,  this time it must with due process with the same rules in both House and Senate.

Robin,
Dear Madam Speaker:
I read the six-page letter sent to you by President Trump on the eve of his impeachment and thought that as long as letters are flying around, I would send you one myself, just as someone trying to help.
The biggest question for you now is what to do next as you contemplate what action might be taken in the Senate. Your follow-up strategy is very important, I know, to your goal of damaging the President as much as possible before the 2020 election, but right now you and your Democrat colleagues are busy celebrating --- behind closed doors, of course --- and it's hard for people who are giddy with merriment and even perhaps a bit hungover to chart their next steps. (You've tried your best to look somber and be discreet about the celebrations, but some news accounts have slipped out. You know how it is with leaks.) The impeachment of President Trump is your long-awaited Christmas gift to yourselves, and now that you have finally unwrapped it, you naturally want to play with it a while. Goodness, you've worked so hard and have come so far. And you must all be very proud of yourselves, considering you got this done completely on your own, with not one single vote from the Republican side. Who needs those Republicans, right? You made up your own rules and accomplished the deed all by yourselves.
You worked and planned for this, and only this, literally for years. You were singleminded. You did it. You own this.
But now it's time for the Senate to take it on. And I just read in THE DAILY CALLER that you are "leaving open" the possibility of withholding the articles of impeachment from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell until you are "assured a fair trial in the Senate." You said that, so far, you haven't seen anything that looks fair to you. You've apparently suggested to reporters that you plan to hold up the impeachment process.
With gratitude,
Mike Huckabee

FEATURED STORY

Informed choices

By Mike Huckabee
Abortion activists don't spend all their time and energy trying to prevent pregnant women from learning the truth about what abortion really is.  They've also been working to promote the widespread availability of abortion-inducting drugs by claiming they're a safe alternative to early-term abortion with little-to-no complications or side effects.  If you saw the movie "Unplanned," you'll remember that was what Abby Johnson was told, and she thought she was going to die from the painful side effects.
Well, in the interest of helping women make a truly informed choice about their reproductive health, here's a story about a study recently published in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons.  It found that abortions induced by drugs given to women up to the 10 th week of pregnancy are far more dangerous than advertised, and have a complication rate four times higher than surgical abortion.
https://www.lifenews.com/2019/12/18/studies-show-abortion-pill-is-dangerous-for-women-24-women-have-died-thousands-injured/
Here's a quote from that article:
"According to the research, risks include ruptured ectopic pregnancies, hemorrhage, infection and retained pregnancy tissue, which require surgery in as many as one in 20 women. The FDA reports at least 24 women have died along with their unborn babies from the drugs, and thousands more have been injured."  Between 2000 and 2018, the FDA reports there have been 24 deaths, 97 ectopic pregnancies, 1,042 hospitalizations, 599 blood transfusions, and 412 infections (including 69 severe infections), with a total of 4,195 adverse events reported," due to these drugs.  And it could be much higher, since only 28 states require clinics to report such complications.
Meanwhile, the abortion industry claims they're so safe, they dispense them remotely by webcam so that women don't even have to see a doctor before taking them.
Tell me again about how these people are the guardians of women's health.

Robin, I wanted to make sure you also read these comments:

Interesting story about how, despite more than $1 billion in spending to eliminate homelessness, Seattle's homeless problem just keeps getting worse. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that "progressive" officials are spending most of the money on fighting "oppression" and "(interrogating) the current structures of power" in order to "examine the legacies of structural racism in our systems, and co-design a path towards liberation with black, indigenous, brown and other marginalized communities."
https://www.city-journal.org/seattle-progressive-municipal-employees
Silly me, I would have spent the money on shelters, drug and alcohol programs, mental health care and job placement.  Let's hope that the next increase in the homeless population comes from those officials being thrown out of office and into the street.

Well, this isn't at all suspicious: surveillance tape of wealthy and well-connect pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's suicide attempt in a Manhattan jail has somehow gone "missing." Oh, just to be clear: this isn't the video that got turned off when he did "kill himself."  This is the video of his earlier suicide attempt, the first time that he didn't kill himself.  Oh, sorry, I mean, the first time he TRIED to kill himself…

Since I'm constantly on airplanes (sorry, Greta!), I really relate to this story about a Christmas time act of kindness by a Huck's Hero named Jack.  He was traveling with his family on a Virgin Atlantic flight from New York to the UK when he met a fellow passenger named Violet.  Violet is an 88-year-old retired nurse who was returning from a visit with her daughter, whom she hadn't been able to visit in a long time because of Violet's knee replacement surgery.
Jack was so taken with Violet that once they were on the plane, he insisted that they switch seats.  Jack sat uncomplainingly back in the economy section, next to the toilets, while Violet took his seat in First Class, traveling in style for the very first time.
Check out these heartwarming photos that show how happy this random act of kindness made Violet. That smile is worth the price of a First Class ticket anywhere.

Letter from President Donald J. Trump to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Google's biased Search Engines

Bs"d

Mike Huckabee on HISTORIC letter on eve of impeachment vote
https://www.mikehuckabee.com/latest-news?id=07DCFDC2-CB8F-4B10-89BC-FCEF68A357D4

Just to give you an indication how biased Google is against President Trump, Try googling "Trump's letter impeachment to Pelosi".

I was expecting that the first link that would show up would be the letter itself, the original, posted by the White House..

This was not the case.  The White House link finally showed up late into the 2nd page into the Google search.  FYI This is what came up.... everyone with a negative slant against President before the original.  It would be an interesting research project to analyse the first 10 pages of links that this Google search generated and see how many links put Trump's letter in a positive light.

Twitter, NBC News,  CNN, The DailyBeast, NY Times, BBC, Rachel Maddow, MSNBC, theHill, nbcNewYork, Bloomberg, BusinessInsider, Politico, the Guardian all came before the White House link of the letter which was the original source followed by Stephen Colbert and Independent UK more negative slants.  Couldn't Mike Huckabee's post, one supporting the President show up as well.  He's probably shadow banned like the rest of us Conservatives by Google.

Google has clearly biased it's search engines against the President and Conservatives and Google is not an objective trusted search engine and is an active participant in the impeachment narrative and prosecution.

We do live in Amazing Times!!!

The surrounding arab nations, and those not surrounding Israel, were committing war against Israel BEFore there were any settlements. Time to give up one more canard that has taken hold around the world, and also with a number of Jews- blaming Israel/Jews of course.

Well spoken, Secretary of State Pompeo!

Pompeo slams Democrats' settlement fixation, calls claims foolish

US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said that he supports Pompeo's letter, adding that the US has restored its historic and appropriate role in mediating the conflict.

WASHINGTON – Calling their arguments "foolish," US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo sent a harsh letter on Monday to 106 Democratic members of the House saying that while they are "free to fixate on settlements as a barrier to peace," they are simply wrong.
The secretary of state sent the letter to Michigan Rep. Andy Levin, who was behind the letter sent to Pompeo last month in which 106 representatives denounced the Trump administration for softening its position on the legality of West Bank settlements. In it, he slammed the Obama administration's position on Israel and the settlements, writing: "The Obama-Kerry departure from America's historic support of Israel has done nothing to make peace more attainable."
In the November letter, the House Democrats urged Pompeo to "immediately" reverse his decision. The letter was signed by 12 committee chairs including veteran members such as Rep. John Lewis and Rep. Maxine Waters, alongside other high-profile representatives, such as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Pompeo
slammed the congressmen in his letter on Monday. He mentioned Levin's arguments – first, that the announcement contradicts decades of bipartisan US policy, and second, that such an announcement "blatantly disregards Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention."
"While I appreciate your interest in this important issue, I couldn't disagree more with those two foolish positions," Pompeo wrote in his answer to Levin, according to a copy obtained by The Jerusalem Post.
"The State Department's determination did not reverse any policy with regard to Israeli settlements," he added. "Rather, the State Department reversed a legal determination by secretary Kerry made during the waning days of the Obama administration, that the establishment of settlements was categorically inconsistent with international law.
"That determination was made in a failed attempt to justify the Obama administration's betrayal of Israel in allowing UNSCR 2334 – whose foundation was the purported illegality of the settlements and which referred to them as 'a flagrant violation of international law' – to pass the Security Council on December 23, 2016," Pompeo's letter stated.

According to Pompeo, Kerry's determination did not enjoy bipartisan consensus. Rather, it received bipartisan condemnation, including from leading Democrats in both chambers of Congress.
"While you are free to fixate on settlements as a barrier to peace, you are simply wrong in referring to that view as being subject to bipartisan agreement," the secretary of state wrote. He went on to quote Senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer, a leader of the Democratic Party, who said in a speech to AIPAC in 2018 said: "It is sure not the settlements that are the blockage to peace."
Pompeo said that the Trump administration was committed to advance a peace deal between Israelis and Palestinians.
"We approach the issue pragmatically and diplomatically," he wrote. "But we eschew the erroneous positions of international law that have gained favor in the past decades… The State Departments' recent determination that the establishment of Israeli civilian settlements in the West Bank is not per se illegal is an important step in the peace process, and we are confident that it creates the right platform for further progress."
US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said that he supports Pompeo's letter.
"In his response to the 106 congressmen, Secretary Pompeo lays to rest the criticism that the Administration's determination with regard to Israeli settlements was contrary to law or inconsistent with bipartisan policy," he said. "Indeed, the administration's decision, in reversing secretary Kerry's unfortunate statement in support of UNSCR 2334, restores the United States to its historic and appropriate role in mediating the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians."
