Campaign of the National Camp for Eretz Yisroel Fwd: Petition is starting to grow, please re-send to your lists!

bs"d

Dear Fellow activists, amv"sh

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/1eys/petition.html

There are several campaigns currently underway on behalf of Eretz Yisroel.  Our campaign has been going on for some time.  We have been asking the public to contact their Rabbanim for a while.  The time has come for people to take this seriously and act upon it.  The major Torah organizations and media have influence over hundreds of thousands of caring Jews!  It is a grass roots campaign to address the Gedolei Hador and the major Jewish Torah Organizations to speak out forcefully on behalf of Yehudah and the Shomron and against a Palestinian State. The Silence is a Chillul Hashem, a desecration of G-ds name.  In  February 2008 the following campaign was conducted to contact the Agudath Yisroel of America and the OU and the YI to speak out for Yehuda and the Shomron. http://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2008/02/timetodo4israel-action-campaign-just.html.  The message is more or less the same.

This past week  appearing in Hamodia page B21 did you know that there was a picture of  Ambassador Cunningham, Ambassador of the United States together with Rav Eliashiv and Rav Efrati. The article said that Rav Eliashiv greeted him warmly and gave him his blessings.  The Ambassador said that the US is looking forward to Netanyahus visit to the US...

DOESN'T this picture send a clear message to the Jewish People that Rav Eliashiv is supportive of a Palestinian State??????

In response to this meeting with Ambassador, we are starting a campaign to unite all those that are against a Palestinian State especially those that are the leaders in the struggle to settle Yehudah and Shomron  to insist that they too have a meeting with Rav Eliashiv and their picture be shown in  Hamodia and Rav Eliashiv greeting them warmly and bestowing upon them his blessings.

Women in Green, you who are involved in building Shdema and call for resettling Gush Katif, Yad Yair and have been establishing facts on the ground don't you deserve the proper recognition you deserve?  A picture with Rav Eliashiv  would get us the recognition we require without even an expensive Ad campaign even though an Ad campaign on buses gets the attention of the people.   A picture with Rav Eliashiv  in the paper doesn't cost anything because it is news. .

If Rav Eliashiv is hesitant to meet with women then please let Rav Eliashiv meet openly with Yaakov Katz of the the National Union, with  the hilltop youth and each and every one of the mayors and Roshei Yeshivoth in the Yishuvim in Yehuda and the Shomron,  Then our message will come across very clear.  Eretz Yisroel is our Biblical inheritance.  The hilltop youth represent Torah.

Dear Activists, Please expect a phone call from Shmuel Koenig who is working with us diligently and persistently to unite the activists to speak in a unified voice of Torah proclaring that the Land of Israel is our gift from G-d and our Biblical inheritance.  Shmuel Koenig will ask you if you would like to be included in a meeting with Rav Eliashiv and if you have any suggestions on how we can get an audience with  Rav Eliashiv please do so. We are very open to suggestions.  Perhaps you have some personal connections or political clout or suggestions.  Perhaps a series of phone calls to his office might do the trick since quiet diplomacy hasn't worked.  Years ago, we were told that he wasn't well etc.      True he is late in his 90's bli ayin hara, amv"sh but that didn't stop him from meeting with Cunningham this past month.

Let our petition reach hundreds of thousands before Yom Yerushalayim. Two years ago at the Agudah Convention, there was a declaration by Agudah for a united Jerusalem.  Yet when Condeleeza Rice, made it clear that Jerusalem was to be divided there was Silence even when Rav Eliashiv instructed Rav Perlow, that it was good to publicize that Jerusalem must not be divided.  How come we haven't heard much regarding this matter and of Rav Eliashiv's position?

Please don't ask who else is joining this campaign before passing it along.  If you join then others will join.  If you hesitate then others will hesitate.  do you agree with the wording.  If so, what fear do you have in signing it?

Many of you have already signed this  petition or a similar one.  There is more than one verson. So if your name does not appear, sign again. This one will be the one that is distributed most widely.    Please include your email address  so that we get a working database of activists. Please forward to your lists  Even if the wording is not exactly the way you would have phrased it, let's not stand on semantics in order that we build in numbers and make a real difference.

Also, On May 20th Rabbi Richman and his wife Rena will be on his way back to Jerusalem after meeting with Bnei Noahides throughout the States. .  Rabbi/Mayor  Moshe Goldsmith and his wife Lea  from Itamar  are on their way from Itamar.  We hope that their paths will cross in JFK. We want to take this opportunity to have an activist meeting and perhaps make a press conference to state a Torah Rabbinic ruling against a Palestinian State . If you wish to attend and be a part of this  meeting please let me know.  IF you know of any Rabbis that would be willing to participate please let us know.  Impress upon each and every Rav that his physical presence is greatly appreciated. Please note that Netanyahu will be in town starting May 18th and he might be sending a very different message  G-d forbid in favor of a Palestinian State if there is reciprocity.  We emphasize entitlement!. Even with reciprocity, the Land of Israel is our entitlement!
