Hebron is the Mother and Father of the Settlement Enterprise. Gush Emunim evolved from settling Hebron and Kiryat Arba. Many of thw children living in places like Amona and Sussiya have done so following in the footsteps of their parents.
The time has come for the leadership in Hebron to question COGOTs role in pushing for the demolition of Jewish homes in Amona without unsubstantiated evidence that it is built on Arab property and the opposite for substantiated illegal Arab squatters in Sussiya.
In spite of this welcome reprieve in building in Hebron one can't help but question the motive of Cogat now under heavy fire for their role in hurting the Settlement enterprise
