bs"d More on Honenu.

bs"d

Honenu (www.honenu.org) is a legal defense organization operating in Israel. We provide legal assistance to approximately 1000 arrestees a year. Soldiers and civilians who find themselves in legal hassles due to defending themselves against Arab aggression or due to their love and commitment to Israel and the Jewish people. They have an organization that will come to their aid 24 hours a day to make sure that they receive a fair judicial process. In the Arab-Jewish conflict in Israel there are over a dozen foreign funded organizations helping our enemies. We are the only legal defense organization helping our own people. Our website has more information.

Shalom Pollack ( http://honenu.org/shalom-pollack/  ) will be available for presentation and private meetings on behalf of Honenu from Nov 8 -28 in the Greater NY area. He will also be in LA from Nov 20 -22. Please contact him shalompo@yahoo.com for further details of it you can suggest a venue for a presentation.

Attached is a letter of recommendation from Rabbi Lieberman and Rabbi Ari Azencot of the Beth Shalom Syrian Congregation in Brooklyn. Additional important recommendations may be viewed on our site ( http://honenu.org/contact-us/references/)

Below is Rabbi Prozansky's letter.

To Whom it may concern:

We were fortunate to host Shalom Pollack on behalf of Honenu at Congregation Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck, New Jersey. The stories he tells are shocking but true, and the need to disseminate this information to the broader Jewish community is vital. Too many Jewish lives have been lost through timidity and the fear of bad press. Honenu is Israel's leader in providing legal protection and assistance to Jews who have defended themselves or their property against Arab marauders, and who have been prosecuted for their acts of self-defense.

I urge all to invite Honenu's representatives to hear these stories, and together we can secure Jewish lives and the Jewish future in the land of Israel.

With blessings for a peaceful year,

Rabbi Steven Pruzansky
Congregation Bnai Yeshurun, Teaneck, New Jersey

Thank you for all your help.

Please let me know if your shul or any  shul or organization  wishes to join and co-sponsor an event for Honenu in Brooklyn, NY in November. Feel free to pass along this email.  Also let me know by sending an email to faigerayzel@gmail.com if you are willing to promote or be involved in planning the event. We welcome all input and your participation.  (It's a great way for singles to meet and activists to network.)

Let me know if you or your Rav is willing to make a public joint statement of Rabbanim claiming legitimate Jewish entitlement of Judea and Samaria based on the Torah and  in favor of Jewish/Israeli Law in Judea and Samaria and opposed to a Palestinian State Chas Veshalom.

Let us end the Silence, admit our grave mistakes like Oslo and the Disengagement from Gush Katif, condemn the brutality of Amona and Migron, regret our mistake of allowing expulsions to happen and now collectively doing what we can to stop and take further expulsions. Let us take it upon ourselves not to allow it to happen again.

Before Yom Kippur 5772 let us do Teshuva and may Hashem bless us with a Gmar Chatima Tova..

As I see it, supporting Honenu is fulfilling the Mitzva of "Al Taamod Al Dam Reiacha" and a Pikuach Nefesh matter for hundreds of thousands of Jews in Judea and Samaria. Thanks. Watch the video on their website.  Robin
