Ending the "Occupation". The case for a Sovereign, Independent Judean Autonomy.

bs"d

When Obama is publicly calling for the end of the "occupation"  he is clearly suggesting that the occupation of Israel in Judea and Samaria is illegal. While occupying my own house is the norm and legal, clearly President Obama is rejecting Israel's occupation as legal.

Perhaps we need to turn the tables on President Obama and complain that he is "occupying the White House".  Let's ignore that he was elected in a democratic election.  However he has yet to produce a valid American Birth Certificate thereby questioning the legality of his occupation of the White House. .

But nothing in this world is happenstance.  Why is Israel being accused of "occupying" the Land so to speak illegally?  Perhaps Israel must be introspective and go back to our entitlement of the Land of Israel which is clearly based on the obligation  for Jews to occupy the Land with Torah and Mitzvoth.

First let us examine whether Jews from the Diaspora are coming home to the Land in order to occupy it with Torah and Mitzvoth.  Then let us examine whether Israel today is a Land where the Law of the Land is Torah and Mitzvoth with a Sanhedrin rather than a hodgepodge of Turkish, British and International Law.

If one argues that it is difficult to convert Israel's legal system to one that is based on Torah and Mitzvoth, they have valid and strong arguments.

Therefore, perhaps let us take our cue from the Palestinians themselves who call for a Sovereign and independent State.  Just instead of calling it Palestine let us call it Judea.  Given that Judea and Samaria is not officially annexed by the State of Israel but rather is under miilitary occupation of the Israel army,  let us call for an Independent Judean Autonomy as a prototype government based on Torah and Mitzvoth.  Let this be a revolutionary model small scale that would not upset the existing Jewish model of government known as the State of Israel, whose official law of the Land is not based on Torah and Mitzvoth officially.

With time, surely this Judean model will prove to be a Land occupied by a  Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation for the benefit of peace and prosperity for Israel and all of mankind.
