Fwd: PJTN EXPOSES OMAR/TLAIB'S TIES TO THE ANTISEMITIC CHRIST AT THE CHECKPOINT IN BETHLEHEM

Dear Robin,

Over the weekend PJTN issued a press release in which I personally called upon Christians worldwide to educate themselves on the true agenda of the "Christ At The Checkpoint" organization—a group with a Christian sounding name but a nefarious mission.  Under this veneer of sheep's clothing lives the ravening wolf mentality of an antisemitic, pro-Palestinian group that makes loud proclamation that Jesus was in reality a Palestinian. They have attempted to cover-up the persecution of Christians in Bethlehem and throw up media blocks on the reality of the mass exodus of thousands of true Christians who have fled the city under the oppressive rule of the Palestinian Authority Control.

Read Laurie's comments in Breaking Israel News here.

In a recent tweet, Ilhan Omar revealed her planned trip to Bethlehem on her now defunct visit to Israel.  Part of the agenda for Omar and Tlaib would have been a planned meeting in Bethlehem with Christ At The Checkpoint—a meeting  I could best describe as "old home week for terrorists."

Contrary to the propaganda being spun by "Christ At The Checkpoint," the reality of life in Bethlehem for Christians has been one of total persecution.  In the PJTN documentary Boycott This! released in 2015, we exposed the frequency of Christians in Bethlehem being shot—sometimes killed—and their churches burned down for the alleged crime of attempting to worship in their city.  Christians once comprised over 20% of the population of Bethlehem but that number has dwindled to barely 2% who have remained to this day under the oppression of Palestinian control—many of those remaining too old or poor to escape.

Not only does Christ At The Checkpoint diminish the message of Christianity, which is deeply rooted in the Hebrew Bible, but they have re-written the biblical narrative, quoting text and scripture out of context to further their antisemitic efforts of proving Jesus was not a Jew.  Rather than an observant Jew from Judea as the Bible recounts, they paint a picture of a Palestinian Jesus denied to this day his true heritage by Christians and Jews.

Many unsuspecting evangelical Christians have been drawn—either knowingly or unknowingly—into Christ At The Checkpoint messaging—including some major leaders I have publicly denounced.  The Palestinian "victim strategy" has an unfortunate allure when neatly applied by antisemites.  Words like "suffering," human rights, freedom, civil rights, humanitarian crisis, wall of separation, demeaning checkpoints, social justice—dog whistles one all used to get the evangelical community to side with pro-Palestinian forces in their battle against Israel as a villainous "occupier."

We can be thankful Omar and Tlaib never made their trip to Israel nor had the opportunity to turn it into anti-Israel propaganda.  All Christians should be appalled at the blanket silence on these women's vocal "Jew hatred" and the blind eye turned by both Congress and the national media.  We will not allow a loud minority of Islamists to drown out the real truth, nor silence the voices of our brothers and sisters in Bethlehem.

If you haven't already, go to the PJTN website and add your name to the more than 40,000 who have signed our petition to have Omar and Tlaib removed from Congress.

Help keep PJTN in the headlines and on the frontlines in bringing truth about the ongoing battle against antisemitism!

We are dedicated to "educating, motivating and activating" on agendas in which we must make our voice heard!  We can only do it with your support…

Thank you in advance—and blessings!

Interview: Jonathan Pollard: Why I Was Forced to Break My Silence
By Avraham Y. Heschel - Hamodia - August 25, 2019
https://hamodia.com/prime/jonathan-pollard-forced-break-silence/

After serving 30 years in prison for passing classified U.S. secrets about
Arab countries to Israel — information that helped save many Jewish lives —
Jonathan Pollard was finally released on parole in November of 2015, albeit
under extremely severe restrictions.

In an exclusive conversation with Hamodia, the only interview he has granted
to an American media outlet, Pollard explains why he is breaking his
self-imposed silence. In a candid talk that took place in the tiny Manhattan
studio apartment he shares with his wife, Mrs. Esther Pollard, Jonathan
reveals his innermost feelings to the broader Jewish community.

Q: When you were finally released on parole three and a half years ago, you
were determined to keep a low profile and refrain from giving interviews.

A: That's true.

Q: What happened to change your mind?

A: A life-and-death situation arose. My wife, Esther, went for a routine
mammogram. The results were troubling, so a biopsy was performed. When
biopsy results confirmed that Esther was struck by cancer yet again — for
the third time — the ground fell out from under me.

Q: So you decided to go public?

A: No. Not at that point.

Q: What happened next?

A: We had a meeting with a world-famous oncologist, Dr. Yashar Hirshaut, who
is affiliated with Maimonides Hospital, one of the best hospitals in the
U.S.

Dr. Hirshaut immediately requested a PET scan for Esther. When the test
results came back, we learned that the cancer had metastasized, it had
spread to her bones. It became clear to us that Esther's situation was far
worse than we had originally thought. It was now a matter of life and death.

Q: How did you react when you got the bad news?

A: It's difficult to describe in words the surge of conflicting emotions I
felt at that moment. Esther was with me, so I knew I should be strong for
her, but I just started to tremble all over with fear. It took all of my
strength not to just bury my head in my hands and cry my eyes out. At the
same time, I was overwhelmed with worry about my wife and consumed by the
need to protect her and defend her. You have to understand, Esther is my
whole world. So this kind of devastating news reduced me to my very essence,
and at that point I cried out to the Eibershter to give me the strength I
needed at that moment to be strong for Esther, and I was immediately
answered.

Q: What do you mean when you say you were answered?

A: I was immediately filled with the same calmness and resolve that I
experienced when I was interrogated in prison and brutally beaten. Both of
my ankles were deliberately broken and I was stomped on and viciously kicked
so many times that my lower spine was cracked and permanently damaged during
these interrogations. Yet no matter how much pain I experienced, I clearly
felt that Hakadosh Baruch Hu was there with me, helping to absorb the blows.
I felt strong in spite of the trauma, and I did not cry out, and I never
broke. It was the same sense of Hashem's closeness to us that flooded me and
filled me with the strength and courage I needed at that devastating moment
when I had to comfort and reassure my wife.

Q: Let me first digress for a second to ask, what do you mean when you say
you "never broke"? What did your interrogators want from you?

A: They wanted me to identify prominent American Jews whom I suspected might
be involved in spying for Israel. They showed me lists of well-known Jewish
people and asked to simply put a check mark beside the ones who should be
hauled in for interrogation. They told me that if I cooperated, things would
go well for me. They assured me that none of these people would know that I
was the one who fingered them and that I would never have to testify against
them in court.

Q: You never did what was asked of you.

A: Absolutely not! A Jew does not accuse or implicate another Jew to the
gentiles. Never!

Q: How did your interrogators respond to your refusal to cooperate?

A: They beat me relentlessly and threatened that each breath I drew might be
my last if I didn't "wise up." But I never broke. I would rather take the
blows than be moser another Jew. I put my life in Hashem's hands and He
brought me through these brutal beatings alive, time and time again.
Yishtabach Shemo!

Q: That certainly explains how you've learned to spontaneously draw close to
Hashem in times of crisis. How did your wife react to the devastating news
of her illness?

A: There is a well known passuk in Mishlei in which Shlomo Hamelech teaches,
"Just as water reflects one face to another, so too are the hearts of man."
Esther's eyes were filled with tears. She looked at me and saw that I was
calm, so she too remained calm. She has tremendous emunah and bitachon
which, over the years we have been together, have always inspired me to keep
growing in these core essentials. We looked at each other and with tears in
our eyes reassured each other that with the help of Hakadosh Baruch Hu we
would face this challenge together and overcome it.

Q: Was this the moment that you decided to break your silence and go public
to seek help?

A: Not immediately. But it was rapidly becoming clear to both of us that
extreme circumstances call for extreme action. I knew we could not fight the
Malach Hamaves without a lot of assistance, both from the government of
Israel and from our brethren. I had to quickly find the most effective way
to cry out for help.

Over the course of the next week, Esther and I discussed it, and we realized
that the time had come for me to end my silence. I chose to do an interview
with Israel's Channel 12 News program. We knew from my wife's decades-long
experience with the media that a successful news interview on Israel's
prime-time news program could have the greatest impact. That is exactly what
has occurred, Baruch Hashem!

Q: Every husband has obligations to his wife. Every husband should have
feelings of gratitude toward his wife. But the gratitude you have for your
wife is something unique. She dedicated her life to battling for your
freedom in a way that's virtually unprecedented.

A: I can't imagine how I would have survived emotionally or physically, 30
years in prison, without her devotion and mesirus nefesh on my behalf.

She surrounded me with chessed when I was in prison and provided me with a
degree of protection and level of devotion which I never knew could exist.

She absolutely was fearless in terms of where she would go or what she would
do or who she would speak to or lobby on my behalf.

But, unfortunately, she became a lightning rod for everyone who was either
afraid of my case or who opposed it, or who regarded me as a threat to their
standing in American society. Consequently, she spent too much of her time
fending off attacks from people and quarters that really should never have
presented such problems to her, both here in the United States and in
Israel. Indeed, so many of the same people who aided, supported and
facilitated the activities of other high-profile Jewish prisoners were the
same people who slammed the door in Esther's face and slandered and maligned
her wantonly.

Q: Why did these Jewish leaders and activists slander her?

A: The lies and slander were intended to damage Esther's credibility in
order to silence her. These people realized that Esther was my presence in
the real world. She was my voice on the outside. They did everything
possible to silence Esther, only in order to silence me. As I live and
breathe now, and I sit here in front of you, it is clear that all of these
evil efforts to silence my wife did not succeed. Baruch Hashem!

Q: Have you had any more positive experiences with the American Jewish
community?

A: Yes! The amcha, the everyday average Jews that Esther and I encounter,
have been wonderful — steadfast in their search for the truth, and dedicated
to tefillah to save my life. Now I need everyone's help to save Esther's
life.

I am asking all of Klal Yisrael, both here in the U.S. and in Eretz
HaKodesh, l'harbot b'tefillah [to increase their prayers] for Esther
Yocheved bat Raizel Bracha for a refuah sheleimah and a hachlamah meheirah!

I should add that it was our Rav, Harav Mordechai Eliyahu, zt"l, who taught
me that the two most precious inspirations in my life, Esther Yocheved and
Eretz Yisrael have the same rashei tevot (alef-yud). The Rav indicated that
that means that an outpouring of tefillah for Esther Yocheved will bless and
benefit Eretz Yisrael at the same time. Who knows, perhaps the Eibershter
chose my wife to suffer this machalah in order to generate enough tefillah
not only for her but for the redemption of the Land as well.

Q: What kind of help do you need from the government of Israel?

A: I need help from Prime Minister Netanyahu so that I can take care of my
wife. My current draconian parole conditions do not permit me to be the kind
of caregiver that Esther desperately needs at this time as she goes through
months of intense chemotherapy followed by surgery.

Q: Please explain.

A: Here are just a few examples that are understood by most people. My
parole conditions prevent me from accompanying Esther to her doctors'
appointments in a timely manner. I have to give 72 hours' notice for each
and every appointment, and ask for official permission to leave Manhattan
and go to wherever the doctors are located. The same is true for her
chemotherapy. I can't accompany her unless I get special written permission
each time. These permissions are not automatically approved. They have to be
negotiated every single time, and they can be denied without explanation at
any time. This situation keeps us fearful and off-balance and adds a severe
burden to an already extremely stressful situation.

Another example of a restriction that impedes my ability to take care of
Esther is my 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew. If Esther needs something after 7
p.m., I cannot go out of the house to get it. I cannot get medicine for her
after 7 p.m., nor can I spontaneously act on any medical emergency for her
when the curfew is in effect. These are just two examples, the tip of the
iceberg so to speak, of how my unjustified parole conditions are not only
embittering our life now but are also making it impossible for me to
adequately take care of my wife now.

Q: What can Prime Minister Netanyahu do to help?

A: I have appealed to him privately and also in my Channel 12 appearance. I
have asked him to please call President Trump and appeal to him to terminate
my parole. I've already served four years as a model parolee, and the
urgency of the situation requires compassion and humane consideration.

Q: What would termination of your parole do?

A: It would lift all of the parole restrictions. I could then take care of
my wife at this critical time in a responsible and spontaneous manner.

It would also make it possible for Esther and me to go home to Israel as
soon as she is well enough to travel again, after her chemo and her surgery.

Her final recovery would be in the Land, which has its own blessings and
healings to offer.

Just looking forward to going home at the end of her treatment ordeal would
vastly improve her morale at this time, and mine too. Our wonderful
oncologist, the wise and deeply caring Dr. Yashar Hirshaut, tells us that
Esther's morale is critical to her complete recovery.

Q: Do you believe that the Prime Minister will intervene with President
Trump?

A: B'ezrat Hashem, he has promised to do so. B'zechut all of the tefillot
and techinot of Klal Yisrael, may Hashem crown the Prime Minister's efforts
with success!

Q: Amen v'amen! Hatzlachah rabbah and a refuah sheleimah!

Rina Shnerb, Hy"d from Sovereignty Movement Women in Green

Bsd

May we be comforted in the building of Eretz Yisrael

The Sovereignty Movement shares in the grief of the Shnerb family,
including Ora Shnerb, a member of the Sovereignty Youth, on the murder
of her sister Rina, Hy"d. We send wishes for a complete and speedy
recovery to Rav Eitan and Dvir.

The Shnerb family is sitting shiva at home, 8 Sprinzak St, Lod.

Shaharit at 07:30, Minha at 19:00 and Arvit at 19:40. The family
requests not to come between 14:00 and 16:00.

About six months ago Ora (Rina's sister) took part in a youth seminar
at the Oz veGaon Preserve and this is what she wrote to her friends
and the fellow members after the terror attack near Ofrah when baby
Amiad-Israel Ish-Ran, Hy"d, was murdered:

This morning I awoke to another sad day.

The death of dear Amiad-Israel was announced just yesterday afternoon.

We had not yet recovered and boom! Another terror attack in Binyamin
and I am filled with anxiety, how many were injured, who was injured
and whether there are fatalities.

And I think to myself for a moment *Why?* Why do I have to live in
fear, why do I have to be afraid to travel around the Land of Israel,
our Land!!

I, Ora, am just 14 ½ years old and I am just another person like you,
but I have had enough, I am sick of being scared to get on a bus with
Arabs, sick of being worried by every little thing and hearing every
other day about another terror attack, other families whose world is
shattered in a moment…

And I call on you for change, to show that we care! *That we will do
everything so that there will not be another terror attack, Heaven
forbid* I am in the Sovereignty youth movement, a movement that has as
one of its goals that these things will not happen, and we need you
for this! Everyone should come, take to the streets, set up booths,
work for our Land of Israel, to show that the wounded and their
families are not alone!

*So let's go – come and have an impact!*

A message to the Sovereignty Youth from Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar

Dear Youth,

The recent terror attacks prove the necessity for sovereignty, but we
must remember that the obligation to apply sovereignty is not for
security reasons but because of the divine imperative "and you shall
inherit the Land".

Now more than ever, we must proudly wear our sovereignty shirts. As
youths, you have a great capacity to spread the idea and to raise
consciousness on the matter even more.

By joining the movement, you have taken upon yourselves a great
responsibility to the future of the People of Israel in its Land and
we are sure that, with the Almighty's help, you will fulfill this
mission.

Applying and implementing sovereignty between the sea and the Jordan
River will once and for all destroy Arab hopes to take over our Land.

We will continue to walk, travel and tour all parts of our Land.

With the blessing of "Let us go up at once and possess it. For we are
well able to overcome it",

Yehudit and Nadia

Palestinian education mirrors Palestinian vision
Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger, "Second Thought: a US-Israel Initiative"
August 23, 2019, https://bit.ly/2ZibyX7

Palestinian terrorists are graduates of the tightly-controlled Palestinian education system (K-12), which has forged the core beliefs, norms and values of the Palestinian society. Moreover, the Palestinian education system has reflected the worldview of its architects - Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas.

Historical experience has also played a major role in shaping the identity of all societies, but it is presented (in democratic societies) or misrepresented (in non-democratic societies) by the education system, which thus enhances or corrupts the foundations of the next generation.

Furthermore, the Palestinian education system is the most authentic reflection of the Palestinian reality, vision and tactics, which are camouflaged by the Palestinian "screen saver" of diplomatic pronouncements, briefings and interviews.

The moderately-packaged Palestinian "screen saver" aims to mislead and sooth the concerns of Western policy-makers and public opinion-shapers, who are driven by well-intentioned wishful-thinking and oversimplification.  The West is eager to produce peaceful-coexistence between Israel and the Palestinians, in defiance of the Palestinian reality, and irrespective of the fact that peaceful-coexistence has yet to be established among Arabs/Muslims ("believers"), let alone between "believers" and the "infidel" in "the abode of Islam."

Therefore, hate-education, on the one hand, and peaceful-coexistence, on the other hand, constitute a classic oxymoron. It highlights a major pitfall of Western policy-makers, who have grossly misunderstood and underestimated the dominant role played by Palestinian hate-education and incitement.

Western policy-makers have ignored the significance of Palestinian hate-education, which documents the intolerant, violent, immoral, terroristic, subversive and anti-Western profile of the proposed Palestinian state.

Western policy-makers tend to ignore a major prerequisite to a constructive peace process: the uprooting - and not merely trimming – of hate-education.

An April 2019 "IMPACT-se" study of the newly-restructured, more radical and more Islamist Palestinian school curriculum, conducted by Hebrew University Prof. Eldad Pardo, a veteran of Islamic and Middle East studies and a top expert on Palestinian curriculum, provides an elaborate documentation of the nature of the Palestinian education system.

For example:

*Urging Palestinian youth to follow in the footsteps of Dalal Mughrabi, the female terrorist who participated in the 1978 PLO attack on two Israeli buses, murdering 38 civilians, including 13 children and injuring 72.  According to the textbooks (5th grade Arabic Language volume 2, pages 51-54 and 9th grade Social Studies volume 1, page 53), "Dalal Mughrabi's struggle portrays challenge and heroism, making her immortal in our hearts and minds…. Arab women, such as Dalal Mughrabi who led the 1978 operation, had a prominent role in…leading guerrilla operations against occupation…."  Mughrabi is heralded as a martyr role model, and is commemorated, by the Palestinian Authority, through the naming of public schools and youth camps after her; a series of "Dalal Mughrabi seminars;" annual anniversaries of her death; a Dalal Mughrabi public square in al-Bireh; an official plaque; a women's center in Bourqa, etc.

*Heralding the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes during the 1972 Munich Olympic Games (11th grade History volume 2, page 54): "The Palestinian resistance resorted to many methods in their opposition to Zionist occupation, such as the 1972 Munich operation…." The massacre was praised by Palestinian Prime Minister, Muhammad Ishtayeh.

*Clarifying that the term "occupation" also refers to the pre-1967 Israel (Tel Aviv, Haifa, Safed, Tiberias, Nazareth, Beersheba, etc.), and that the conflict with Israel is not over the size – but over the existence – of a Jewish State in the "abode of Islam," which is exclusively "ordained" to Muslims. According to the textbooks (6th grade Social Studies volume 1, page 56, 10th grade Arabic Language, volume 1, page 133, 8th grade Social Studies, volume 1, page 9, and 11th grade Geography volume 1, page 103), "Palestine is the geographic area between the Mediterranean Sea in the west and the Jordan River in the east and from Lebanon and Syria in the north to the Gulf of Aqaba [Eilat] and Egypt in the south…."

*Presenting the concept of Jihad [holy war] and the global division – and the ongoing war - between "the abode of Islam" and "the abode of the infidel": "Jihad [holy war] defends Muslims against attacks by infidels and the arrogant ones, and is conducted against those who stand in the way of Islam spreading to other nations…. The goals of Jihad are noble, defeating the aggressor and spreading the tenants of Islam, while the goals of non-Muslim wars are not noble…. Infidels should be warned before the battle, and offered an option to embrace Islam or live [as subordinates] under the rules of Islam…." (11th grade Islamic Education volume 1, pages 114-115).

*Emphasizing the sacrifice of one's life – on the altar of Islam – as a most noble and rewarding mission: "Allah wants to take Shuhada' [martyrs] from among the believers and honor them by Shahadah [martyrdom] to forgive their sins and raise their stature in Paradise…. They will be married to 72 wives from among the virgins…. I vow to sacrifice my blood, to saturate the land and eliminate the usurper from my country, annihilating the foreigners…." (9th grade Islamic Education volume 1, page 13; 3rd grade Our Beautiful Language volume 2, page 64).

In order to sustain the Palestinian state option, Western policy-makers have allowed rose-colored diplomatic communications with Palestinian leaders to supersede, and conceal, the harsh reality of Palestinian hate-education, which would produce a rogue, terroristic, anti-Western entity, implementing the aforementioned values and goals promoted by the Palestinian curriculum.
