Robin, I have to admit, sometimes MSNBC offers up some absolutely delicious video, this time about Hillary's Clinton's hypocrisy when it comes to challenging election results. From the debate stage, candidate Hillary said that Donald Trump's reluctance to automatically accept any hypothetical Election Day scenario was "horrifying." Of course, standards are meant for other people, not the Clintons, so she's since hopped onto Jill Stein's recount bandwagon. Question: If, as Stein has said, this recount is not about changing the outcome but simply to give voters confidence in the process, why is it targeted only to the combination of three states that have even a remote possibility of changing that outcome? Hmmmmmmm??? Though it seems like the sort of frivolous waste of money liberals are known for, Republicans had better take this or any recount effort seriously. There's a method to Stein's madness, and we can see it more clearly now that Hillary is on board. When Democrats come in to count votes, they bring teams of lawyers interested not in a fair determination but strictly in furthering their clients' interest, which is, of course, WINNING. They will do absolutely anything and everything they possibly can to bring about a win. "The process" becomes all about who has the most aggressive legal team –- one that makes OJ's "Dream Team" look like slackers. Exhibit A: Sen. Al Franken. So Trump's people better have a rock-solid legal team in place to counter this, one that draws a line in the sand (or builds a big beautiful, termite-resistant wall with no door) that the opposition absolutely cannot cross. Democrats in close contests have taken to heart a saying you've probably heard (often attributed to Josef Stalin), "It's not the people who vote that count; it's the people who count the votes." Nah, I'm only joking: they're really harassing Republican electors with hate mail and death threats. One Michigan GOP elector said he's had Hillary advocates "talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out." Which is an odd message, coming from people who want more gun control. But of course, in their minds, it's perfectly justified for them to try to gain political power through bullying, violence and death threats. Why? Because Republicans are fascists, of course. |
Investigating the Clinton FoundationBy Mike HuckabeeWhen Donald Trump was taking heat from the right last week for allegedly saying he'd prefer not to pursue an investigation of Hillary Clinton, I pointed out that the story was meaningless. The President doesn't determine that, and besides, the investigations most threatening to Hillary involved the Clinton Foundation, and those weren't going away. Now, the New York Post claims a source close to Trump's transition team told them that Trump plans to encourage other nations to investigate the Clinton Foundation. Specifically, the governments of Haiti and Colombia, both of which were supposedly the recipients of major charity programs by the Clinton Foundation that seemed to benefit few people other than the Foundation's donors. Worse news yet for the Clintons: donations to the Foundation have dropped by 37% since last year, and since the election, Norway has cut donations by 87% and Australia has cut off donations entirely. I don't know if Daniel Greenfield is on target re: Obama's grandiose plans but I think that we have enough evidence to know that Obama empowered, and in all likelihood will continue to empower, evil...be it Muslim Brotherhood, Nuclear Iran and ISIS.
If we investigate Hillary and the Clintons and their operation, my guess is that many illegalities will point back to Obama and his administration and to their network of no good doers as well.
Trump should go full steam ahead with a full and thorough investigation, identify and correct the factors that created an environment where evil and corruptness was able to thrive and flourish... Alternatively, America will end up paying a heavy price and suffer the consequences of evil unchecked.
If for no other reason, he owes it to the people who voted for him...to those who expect Truth, Justice and the American Way to finally prevail over the forces of evil.
Obama's efforts should and must be neutralized before damage occurs. That is why Trump must be vigilante to include and surround himself, especially in his inner circle, with G-d fearing individuals who have a proven track record to first and foremost act on principle and Faith rather than on greed and lust for power.

Peace and Blessing:
You asked my opinion on the issue of Eretz Israel as well as the issue of handing over territories
to enemies claiming to make peace – as they call it, "peace in exchange for territories," or
"territories in exchange for peace." You also asked whether a rabbi should issue a ruling in
either direction.
Eretz Israel in its entirety was given as a gift to the Jewish people, not to Esau nor to Ishmael,
and they have no part in it. There is a commandment to conquer the land and not to abandon it
and certainly not to relinquish it to foreigners, especially to an enemy.
Peace is made in exchange for peace, because peace itself is a supreme and sacred value that
cannot be bartered for anything else.
There is a Halachic principle that one rabbinical court cannot override the ruling of another
court unless it is superior to it in wisdom and in numbers. The council of the former Chief
Rabbinate, as well as the great luminary who was proficient in all areas of the Torah with
amazing clarity, the Lubavitcher Rebbe of saintly memory, ruled against relinquishing territory,
and no rabbi has the right to override them. As mentioned, today there is no one who can
compare to them in wisdom and numbers.
This is particularly so when we see that this is not even a flawed peace. Rather, they are making
preparations to declare a Palestinian state and so on. Therefore, every rabbi is fully entitled to
rely on the aforementioned ruling and to state unequivocally that it is forbidden to relinquish
territories to foreigners, and certainly not to an enemy. No minister nor rabbi should protest
against them for upholding that view, even if he thinks that it is contrary to the Halacha.
I wish to add that they have no right to issue a verdict that it is permissible to relinquish
territories if in their opinion they are "civil servants." Especially when this is a matter of pikuach
nefesh, an issue of life or death, who can assume responsibility to take such action?
May it be the will of G-d to bestow a pure and holy spirit on the Jewish People. May we no
longer hear of woe and calamity in our Holy Land, and may we merit the Final Redemption
speedily in our days. Amen, so be His will.

In an Arutz Sheva interview Tuesday, Tzfat Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu dismissed the prime minister's warning that if the Regulation Law is approved in the Knesset, it will cause international petitions against Israel at the Hague international criminal court. "Israel is not obligated to the Hague and this threat should not faze us. Russia has announces that it is disassociating from this court... which always seems to find reasons why we are guilty.
"We should remember that this community is a fulfillment of the covenant G-d made to our forefathers. Who is more important to us- a biased judge in the Hague or our forefather Avraham? What is more important- G-d who promised us this land or some court in Europe whose positions are known beforehand?"
