The sad alternative of Nations streaming toward Jerusalem Yeshayahu Chapter 1

bs"d

Yeshayahu Perek 1:1-27

In this Chapter Yeshayahu emphasizes that Hashem does not need or want and actually finds distasteful and despises our sacrifices that aren't authentic.

Hashem denounces those who take bribes rather than judge with justice and righteousness and when the cause of the widow and orphan doesn't even come to the justice system.

Who is in charge of the Judicial system in Israel?  Why aren't the Chareidi parties yearning for a Sanhedrin and law based on Torah Shebichtav and Torah Shebaal Peh?

 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; every one loveth bribes, and followeth after rewards; they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. {S}

Isaiah Chapter 1

1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the LORD hath spoken: Children I have reared, and brought up, and they have rebelled against Me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib; but Israel doth not know, My people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil-doers, children that deal corruptly; they have forsaken the LORD, they have contemned the Holy One of Israel, they are turned away backward.
ה  עַל מֶה תֻכּוּ עוֹד, תּוֹסִיפוּ סָרָה; כָּל-רֹאשׁ לָחֳלִי, וְכָל-לֵבָב דַּוָּי. 5 On what part will ye yet be stricken, seeing ye stray away more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint;
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and festering sores: they have not been pressed, neither bound up, neither mollified with oil.
7 Your country is desolate; your cities are burned with fire; your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by floods.
8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
ט  לוּלֵי יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת, הוֹתִיר לָנוּ שָׂרִיד כִּמְעָט--כִּסְדֹם הָיִינוּ, לַעֲמֹרָה דָּמִינוּ.  {פ} 9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, we should have been like unto Gomorrah. {P}
10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? saith the LORD; I am full of the burnt-offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he-goats.
12 When ye come to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample My courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; it is an offering of abomination unto Me; new moon and sabbath, the holding of convocations--I cannot endure iniquity along with the solemn assembly.
14 Your new moons and your appointed seasons My soul hateth; they are a burden unto Me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.
טז  רַחֲצוּ, הִזַּכּוּ--הָסִירוּ רֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיכֶם, מִנֶּגֶד עֵינָי:  חִדְלוּ, הָרֵעַ. 16 Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes, cease to do evil;
יז  לִמְדוּ הֵיטֵב דִּרְשׁוּ מִשְׁפָּט, אַשְּׁרוּ חָמוֹץ; שִׁפְטוּ יָתוֹם, רִיבוּ אַלְמָנָה.  {ס} 17 Learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. {S}
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
יט  אִם-תֹּאבוּ, וּשְׁמַעְתֶּם--טוּב הָאָרֶץ, תֹּאכֵלוּ. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land;
כ  וְאִם-תְּמָאֲנוּ, וּמְרִיתֶם--חֶרֶב תְּאֻכְּלוּ, כִּי פִּי יְהוָה דִּבֵּר.  {פ} 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken. {P}
21 How is the faithful city become a harlot! She that was full of justice, righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.
22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water.
כג  שָׂרַיִךְ סוֹרְרִים, וְחַבְרֵי גַּנָּבִים--כֻּלּוֹ אֹהֵב שֹׁחַד, וְרֹדֵף שַׁלְמֹנִים; יָתוֹם לֹא יִשְׁפֹּטוּ, וְרִיב אַלְמָנָה לֹא-יָבוֹא אֲלֵיהֶם.  {ס} 23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; every one loveth bribes, and followeth after rewards; they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. {S}
כד  לָכֵן, נְאֻם הָאָדוֹן יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת--אֲבִיר, יִשְׂרָאֵל:  הוֹי אֶנָּחֵם מִצָּרַי, וְאִנָּקְמָה מֵאוֹיְבָי. 24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Ah, I will ease Me of Mine adversaries, and avenge Me of Mine enemies;
כה  וְאָשִׁיבָה יָדִי עָלַיִךְ, וְאֶצְרֹף כַּבֹּר סִיגָיִךְ; וְאָסִירָה, כָּל-בְּדִילָיִךְ. 25 And I will turn My hand upon thee, and purge away thy dross as with lye, and will take away all thine alloy;
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning; afterward thou shalt be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and they that return of her with righteousness.

A Must See Video in response to "Naked Blind Anti-Semitism in NYC Council Chambers". Councilmen David Greenfields speech goes viral...

bs"d

Thank you Madam Public Advocate. You know, I waited my turn here. I've followed protocol in the New York City Council and haven't spoken out because I respect this chamber. I have to tell you, I'm still shaken to my core. I am upset. I am angry. But I'll tell you honestly, I am actually somewhat pleased at what we saw here today. If you're wondering why I'm saying that, it's because for the last few weeks we've heard from people who said, "Oh we don't dislike Jews, we only dislike the state of Israel. We have no problem with you, we simply don't want you to go to Israel."

But we know that's not really at the core of what they were saying and today they proved it. While we were discussing a resolution regarding the murder of 1.1 million human beings – I will point out that 90% of whom were Jewish, but the other 10 percent were political dissidents, they were Jehovah's Witnesses, they were gays. Those were the people who were being killed together in Auschwitz-Birkenau. While we were discussing that, they had the nerve, the chutzpah, the temerity to unfurl a Palestinian flag and to yell at us while we're discussing that.

And so the reason why I am pleased is because we can stop pretending that this is about Israel, when the reality is that every Middle Eastern country that is in existence today is not Democratic and persecutes people of other faiths, and persecutes gays, and persecutes people who disagree with them, and persecutes people on Twitter and persecutes women who drive, except for one country – which is the State of Israel.

And so what you saw here today was naked, blind Anti-Semitism. That's what you saw. That's what you watched. That's what you witnessed. People who are upset for one reason. Do you want to know know why they are angry? Do you want to know why they are unfurling that flag today? Because Hitler did not finish the job. He only wiped out half of my family. And only by the grace of God is the other half, me, the grand-child, still alive today. That's why those people are upset. Shame on them! Shame on them for hating Jews! Shame on them for hating people! Shame on them for disrespecting the most diverse, democratically elected body in the United States of America.

And that's why we go to Israel. We go to Israel to make a message that is clear: that we will not be cowered by this fear and by this hatred that we have, where these are people who will celebrate the death of Jews rather than mourn the death of innocents. I am embarrassed at what happened here today but I am pleased that we finally see what this is all about: good old fashion Anti-Semitism. Thank you."

Pashath Haman Segula for Parnossa Say NOW! Today Tuesday 0f Parshat Beshalach

7 Shvat 5775

bs"d
Dear Family and Friends, amv"sh

Parshat Haman: the portion in the Torah that describes the way Hashem provided manna (i.e., parnassah from heaven) for the Jewish people in the Midbar Desert. This can be found in Sefer Shemot, Perek16: 4-36. The book of Exodus 16: 4-36.
Artscroll English Translation of Parshas Haman

There are many who recite this daily, however, it is a most auspicious time to recite it on the Tuesday of Parashas B'shalach.

Below is a link for it in Hebrew and Aramaic for 2 Mikra Echad Targum:

May all your tefilos (prayers) be answered l'tova(for the good)!

You probably will enjoy this video called

Caroline as MK in Likud. I agree with Batya Medad

bs"d

Caroline Glick as Likud MK, Muzzled Window-Dressing by Batya Medad

Caroline Glick needs to be smart enough to determine if she is being used by Netanyahu or if Netanyahu is indeed willing to change direction.

My gut feeling is that Netanyahu plays politics and politics is what drives his decisions.  When one is enmeshed in politics one is blinded..  Caroline Glick needs to put her position very clear especially to herself as per where she will draw the line.  Under PM Netanyahu, a 2 State Solution is not merely a face saver but has been a foreign policy with real facts on the ground ramifications where settlers are being marginalized, and have been treated as 2nd class citizens.  This is much worse than taxation without representation.  In fact, "Taxation without representation" is actually a gross understatement of the hardships endured by the Settlers of Judea and Samaria compared to the Colonies by the British.  Being taxed unfairly is far less destructive then being expelled from ones home for lots of very bad reasons.

There is no question that settler security as well as the security of the residents of East Jerusalem have been severely compromised. Just look at the desecration on Har Hazaytim and the destruction of the security cameras donated by some caring Jews in Flatbush Brooklyn.   Unless Netanyahu denounces Oslo and the "Peace Process"  he can not be trusted with Israel's security and being under his wing actually empowers his policies..

It took Moshe Feiglin too many years to realize that.

Moshe Feiglin brought with him many good Nationalist Jews under the Likud camp.

Now is it Caroline Glick's turn?

While Netanyahu and the world is facing a nuclear Iran, I imagine Caroline is putting that into the equation.  Netanyahu should indeed be commended for taking a world lead when it comes to Iran.

Yet Israel, without the Almighty G-d, on her side is weak and won't be able to fight and withstand such evil ..

Let us stand strong for Judea and Samaria. Then we will surely have increased merit to deserve G-d's protection and miraculous wonders to help fight Iran as well as ISIS and the evil in the world.  Israel not America must lead....

A proud leader of Israel must proudly wear the Tefillin, a reminder of the Exodus, and tell the world, that Israel has indeed returned home to OUR Promised Land after 2,000 years.  This includes all of Judea and Samaria! We need not fear the anger of the likes of Pharaoh and the Egyptians who in spite of Moshe Rabbeinus defiance, and the horrible plagues that afflicted them, understood that it was they, the Egyptians, that were at fault and they did not blame the Jews. In fact quite the opposite! They earned respect!

Shemos Chapter 11:3

 3. So the Lord gave the people favor in the Egyptians' eyes; also the man Moses was highly esteemed in the eyes of Pharaoh's servants and in the eyes of the people.
