Dear Friends, amv"sh

Believe me I really wanted to go to sleep on time tonight.  I really did!  But then I read this New York Times article and I knew it needed some serious addressing. (and that is a understatement  if there ever was one.  I would have liked to use some choice words. rc[;ryobrd, after reading this article, but I am restraining myself)

This New York Times article is extremely thorough in detailing how the Jews in Judea and Samaria get their funding from tax exempt funds. Their investigative reporting is quite admirable.

However, consistent with typical New York Times reporting,  it dismally fails to give a balanced picture of how and where the Palestinians have received billions of their dollars of funding.  A good reporter can provide ratios between the bottom line dollar amount of funding the institutions in Judea and Samaria received compared with bottom line dollar amount of Palestinian funding.  The total should not only include American Taxpayers dollars but funding from Europe Union and rich Arab countries.  We all know the United Arab Emirates  have lots of money due to oil sales and what better place to spend it then in Gaza or the PA.   Let us also not forget to mention the money Palestinians receive from the UN and their NGO's.

True, in Judea and Samaria some institutions receive money from some wealthy individuals and from some Bible believing organizations but how can you compare that with massive funding from countries like the USA, Saudi ARabia and from the European Union not to mention the NGOs and the UN??????

Also because of their tunnel vision and myopic view, the New York Times therefore can not compare utilization of donations in Judea and Samaria with the utilization of donations in Palestinian territories.

Settlements in Judea and Samaria use this money to build homes, educational institutions, synagogues and schools,  beautiful communities with playgrounds and landscaping, and these educational institutions teach the holy words of Torah as a light unto the Nations.  The Palestinians chose to use their money very differently.  The Palestinians buy enormous supply of weapons for the purpose of using it against Israel, promote terror, train terrorists, pay the salaries of anti-Semitic, anti Israel NGO's.  These NGO's actively work towards the desired goal of  the destruction of a Jewish Homeland.  They glorify suicide bombers, glorify jihad in their primary school education and need I go on?

Just compare pictures of  flourishing and prosperous Gush Katif of days gone by with burnt out Gaza today  and you will see how money was spent. While you are at it, add some pictures of Kassam hit Sderot terrorized by such "peaceful neighbors".

Dear Readers,   Let us take this golden opportunity to protest the billions of American Tax payers dollars that have gone to train terrorists, and promotes terrorism with  terror education in PA territories.  The victims of such education include Americans and American institutions ad  well.  What is good for Israel is good for America.

So if you are a Jewish organization like Agudath Yisroel of American why not use your resources to protest immoral spending of American Tax Payers rather than educate your constituencies with seminars  to  make sure that they are paying their taxes according to American Law.  Paying ones taxes legally is wonderful when the money goes to legitimate causes.  However, when legitimate causes like building Judea and Samaria are considered illegal while paying taxes to train Palestinian terrorists is legal and the final destination of such funds promotes terror against our brothers and sisters  and ultimately against us, we have some big issues here that must be addressed.   Don't you think?

If you are Print Media, why not counter this "lovely" well researched article in the New York Times with some of your own investigative reporting about how our American Taxpayers money is being used to promote terror and Jihad and destruction.  One can easily see a parallel with the story of the Lion King lehavdil.  The jealous, evil Scar stole the Kingdom from the rightful heir Simba and destroyed the peaceful and prosperous Kingdom of Simba's Father. We all know that it has a happy ending and the Kingdom was  finally restored to the only rightful heir, the one and only true and deserving KIng.

Judah is the Lion KIng and Scar is the Palestinians.

Jewish leaders must speak out

Our Proclamation 1, calling on all Jews to participate in the campaign against PLO funding, is being presented to a variety of rabbis for their endorsement.

Some rabbis are stepping forward to fulfill their responsibility to save lives and are endorsing our campaign.

Unfortunately, others apparently fear being "controversial," perhaps thinking that even merely supporting our campaign might endanger fundraising, social acceptance, or something else.
